Published: Thursday 18th Nov 2010 by Sam

Peep Kelly Rowland posing it up in the studio with hitmaker Jim Jonsin this week, working on her third studio album. The 29 year old  also clocked in recording time with ‘Commander’ writer Rico Love (pictured below).

Having re-recording what appears to be the bulk of her LP, the record now also boasts contributions from the likes of Tricky Stewart & The Dream, Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jerkins, and Ester Dean.

Kelly is my Idol, is my Diva. But I really tired of all this. Why wait if she have a perfect album for release in the last september? Sounds like she don’t belived in herself, and I hope all this time make something happen for here carrer.

She needs to give it up already… who does she think is interested in purchasing her music in America? no one!

@Alex Grey Let’s see.. maybe because her singles weren’t catching? Why just put out anything when it has a huge chances of flopping? It’s her 3rd album, she has to either get it right, while the getting’s going, or sit down! & on top of that she would’ve had to promote here & overseas @ the same time (wouldn’t have been a good luck). Plus, her overseas market like’s a certain type of music & she has to cater to them, & obviously over here in the US they want a certain sound (hence: her singles not really catching on), so she went in & made perfect albums respectively for each catered market. She’s smart!

Kelly’s team know what they’re doing. She is re-working the album to make a big impact on the American market. I will be buying her album either way because of the quality songs not the #1 popcorn songs that do well on charts. If I have to wait til 2011 the wait will be worth it.

  10. Cyphers November 18, 2010

I’m getting really tired of hearing about who she’s in the studio with. I’m ready for her to produce an album already.

  11. Cheers (Drink to That) November 18, 2010

Yeah, what’s with the RE-WORKING of the album??? Just RELEASE IT!!!!!!!!!

  12. Jammy November 18, 2010

Well she doesn’t want to put together a lackluster record like Rihanna. I think Rihanna’s album is how Kelly’s original album would have been in the sense that it would jsut seem like a bunch of singles thrown in together

  13. Mike November 18, 2010

I’m just ready for her to be done with this album already and release it. “) I truly like Kelly and her music. I think if she continue to mess with it, it’s gonna lose the awesome quality it started off with. And I wish she would name the album, …..I mean c’mon! “)

Kelly Rowland and Universal Motown should seriously consider re-recording and releasing UNITY as a worldwide single ! Still the best and most meaningful song she has ever recorded <3 <3 !!!
