I can’t hear any head voice. and judging from that “belt” she was clearly struggling and completely lost her voice at 0:49-0:53. it wasn’t a bad performance, but definitely nothing special about that. she sounds great when she lipsynchs but when she has to sing live on this occasion, this is her “true voice”. WEAK! where’s the power she used to have?

1. Mariah is singing “One Child” … for those of you who HAVE THE ALBUM…you know that this song has some of the best vocals. She practically belts the entire last minute of the song with all types of notes. SO FOR THE DUMMIES who insist on saying she struggled the entire song after you only watched a 10 SECOND CLIP and heard her singing probably 3 NOTES….sit down…you just failed and should never have a valid opinion.
2. Mariah is PREGNANT…so for the people who insist on calling her fat and other physical insults….umm, look in the mirror…if she’s “fat,” then you’re probably OBESE AND JEALOUS!!! She took steroids for months to gain weight. Everyone knows Mariah is not naturally this big…so sit down…you just failed and should never have a valid opinion.
3. For the people who called Mariah a has-been and compared her to Beyonce and GaGa….umm, I don’t have to respond to such ignorance. Mariah is the top selling female artist in history and has more number one singles than any solo artist in history….a “has-been” can literally NEVER be associated with her name….unlike Beyonce and Gaga, who will be approacing “has-been” mark in about 8 more years!!!!!!! Love mariah. but If you listen to the choir- who are in tune- you can hear Mariah’s voice clashes with it, therefore its out of tune. I’d like to think its because of the recording but you can also see it on her face that she wasn’t happy with it.

Notice the camera pans at the audience right where they start standing up. My cousin who is an aspiring actress (and Mariah Carey fan) got paid $500 for this.
So disappointed that the whole special was a fake show, from Mariah’s fake singing to the fake reactions from the audience.
