Beyonce has done what many have always considered to be the impossible: she has ended her business relationship with her father, Mathew Knowles. In a statement released by her publicist Yvette Noel-Schure to the Associated Press, the singer has confirmed that he will no longer manage her career.
Knowles has been the guiding Beyonce’s career since childhood and was the driving force behind the success of Destiny’s Child as well as all of her other projects to date. However, although Beyonce claims that this will not affect their personal relationship, there remains no word as to whether she will end all association with Music World Entertainment or Columbia Records.
Former Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams also famously cut ties with Knowles in 2009 and 2010, respectively, encouraging speculation as to whether a reunion of the group will ever occur. For now, fans can expect Beyonce’s 4th studio album to be released later this year.
This has to be the most shocking news to of the year to date! While Beyonce has blossomed into one of the leading artists in the industry and is certainly a force to contend with on her own, how she will manage to succeed without the guidance and control of her father will be quite interesting to observe.
Will Beyonce continue to thrive or will she crumble under the pressure of an already unstable industry? Either way Oprah and I are still in disbelief!

So tell me if she’s not more R&B oriented, could you hear Britney, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Gaga, etc. sing half of her songs? This is only a way of Beyonce trying to overshadow Kelly Rowland AGAIN. Kelly’s single, Motivation is blazing up the charts, her video is set to premiere April 4th, and her album is highly anticipated–more reason for Beyonce to believe Kelly just might be standing on her own. I dislike Matthew but I have to admit that he was a great manager for Beyonce. He fought her corners. I think because of the cheating and the divorce Beyonce does not want to work with him. Matthew might not be working with Beyonce anymore but he still sits in the Grammy comity and obviously he is going to be partial to her one way or another.
Anyways Beyonce looks great in that dress and I love the hairstyle.
Beyonce isn’t going anywhere! Her dad leaving is probably the best thing that could happen in her life at the moment. If anything there wouldn’t be any tension or personal issues disrupting Bey’s focus. Why would any success be lost? She still has talent. The woman can earn another grammy. Mathew is only 1 person on the Grammy board. The others that voted for Bey weren’t related to her. If I’m not mistaken, Mathew was only active on the board on 1 or 2 occassions the year(s) she won. Beyonce’s not wreckless and overly lavish. Beyonce is a frugal businesswoman that spends money wisely. Her most successful single “Single Ladies” was the video with the cheapest cost. She’s recorded some of her albums at a fraction of what the budget put aside for it was. All the things that her haters want her to be, she never will be. S***, h**, d*** sucker, etc … none of this has or ever will be Bey! She’s one of the few artist in this industry to move up the ladder deservingly, through hard work. Some of ya’ll have it confused, she’s not changing her hair styles and colors to attract new people, or lip singing while robotically dishing out another zombie – like disconnected performance, or dressing as a skeletal witch that uses payola and clear channel to make certain that her first single carries the hype for her upcoming album. Bey is all about her music, that’s her formula! That’s her strategy! That doesn’t walk out the door when Mathew Knowles gets handed a pink slip. For over a decade, everything imaginable was suppose to bring her down(the dysfunctional group, overexposure, Rihanna, marital problems, Britney, pregnancy rumors, Gaga’s arrival in 2008)… and Bey is still the only person without question, that you can call a Queen of the last decade – ’til now!

Following Beyoncé’s announcement that her father would no longer manage her career, Mathew Knowles has issued his own statement addressing their split. While reflecting on the success he had with the pop superstar, Mathew reiterated that their decision was mutual and that he was proud of his daughter.
Knowles’ record label and management company Music World Entertainment will continue its involvement with Destiny’s Child and focus on its gospel artists as well as t*** singer Tiffany Evans.

The decision for Beyoncé and Music World Entertainment to part was mutual. We did great things together, and I know that she will continue to conquer new territories in music and entertainment. Currently, I am very focused on the tremendous investment that our record label has made in the gospel/inspirational genre of music and on our supremely talented roster of artists, including Trin-i-tee 5:7, Brian Courtney Wilson, Juanita Bynum, Micah Stampley, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Pastor Rudy and others.
Music World will continue its partnership with Sony with Destiny’s Child and UK female group From Above, as well as management. We will also continue to develop the Music World family of labels: Music World Country/Compadre, Music World Kids and Music World Music. In Music World’s repositioning it will not continue its label/management role with Columbia/Sony artist Tiffany Evans.
Business is business and family is family. I love my daughter and am very proud of who she is and all that she has achieved. I look forward to her continued great success.

Right? I rarely bother with addressing the haters and pressed stans of the lessers. I know I stan for the best, so I’m never concerned with what they have to say. To me, it is simply water off a duck’s back.
It’s completely understandable because we all know they’re experiencing the very first symptoms of Bey Fever:
1) Concern that B is returning.
2) Believing that B hasn’t been away for quite long enough.
3) Worrying for your fave and their precarious position in the industry’s food chain.
4) Feeling a constant need to reassure others (and, in doing so, yourself) of your fave’s success and dubious achievements.
5) Racing to the most recent B post on a blog and posting hateful comment after hateful comment under various names.
This is how it starts. It shall only get worse as the new era gathers speed, so hunker and grab a Martini. It’s going to be one HELL of a ride.
