I have read this billboard amazon controversy and I must someone with great understanding will not agree with gaga album sold at .99. For many reasons I will not get into. This is a cheat and unfair for other artist trying to meet the sales at regular price.

I don’t care if it was Amazon that decided to buy all those copies are wholesale cost (allegedly…I wouldn’t be surprised if Interscope was more than willing to donate a few hundred thousand copies for the cause of vanity); counting the 99cent sales for a whole album as part of tracking charts is still disingenuous and not completely reflective of public interest. It’s very likely that the MANY of people who went ahead and copped that s*** did it because it was just THAT cheap, but WOULDN’T have been willing to pay for it at standard price.

I wish some of you people would learn how to read. Amazon is the ONLY place that the DIGITAL copy was being solld for .99 cents. They bought the copies for FULL PRICE and THEY are selling them again for 99 cents because THEY want to promote THEIR music sestion. Not to mention, she put the whole album on youtube, so people could listen to it and decide if they wanted to buy it. Gaga is still SLAYING on physical copies and itunes copies that are being sold at FULL PRICE. BTW was already number one on Amazons best sellers list on presales alone. They presale prices were for the full price. Even without Amazon Gaga would have sold 800k + easily. Both versions of Born this way went #1 and #2 on itunes in 22 out of 23 countries in less than 90 minutes.
Either way, the fans get the deal of a lifetime and Gaga doesnt care about album sales or chart positions anyway. Haters can stay mad
