It’s not a bad song but I have to agree with Cheryl Cole, there is something irritating about her voice, & let’s be honest what chance does this chick have in the music game. This is the best I’ve heard from her so far. I like it.
I wish this was sung by another artist. Her voice is reaching for notes that she can’t really hit. She always sings this way! I’d prefer someone like Adele for this track, it was done an injustice.

I love her vocals on this. She’s really goin in vocally on this. But, the song is ok. Like a album filler. Love her though. I tried to buy this on iTunes like her vid said (watched & saw this yesterday), but it’s only apparently available on iTunes UK.
@ROYALKEV I have to disagree with you on this. She can easily hit those notes. She’s just hitting them with force because that’s her signing style. She’s easily hit the same notes live without any problem or strain. & Adele would not be able to touch the notes on this, though Adele does have a amazing voice. You probably just don’t like her voice or singing style.
I like the song a lot. This is my 5th time listening to it. I recommend some extra vocal training. the screaming is too much and i understand how it could be a cut off.

It’s refreshing. I was expecting her to go the generic dance pop route. She actually sounds nice on this track, many ladies in the 60’s had those high pitched scratchy voices, so this fits nice.
The hook lacks a bit, but this is the best I’ve heard from her. Yet a vocal coach will only help her! Love the sound though!

Her voice is good and it’s nice to hear something different, but there was just something missing when I listened to it.
Melody’s voice is so versatile! I can’t wait to hear her new stuff. Nicole’s singles have honestly NOTHING compared to the songs with PCD. Out of all of her new music it’s like she’s on all these new tracks that are mediocre to low trying to find that one hit that gets her back in the game after PCD. And, all those tracks from Nicole aren’t even close to as good as this 1 unreleased Melody track…

I love this sound that she’s going for! I LOVED “Love Gun” and I like that she’s sticking with the same modern pop/jazz/soul vibe!

the song is the best single that’s been put out ALL YEAR, NO COMPETTION FROM ANYONE, EVEN THE TOP NOTCH SINGERS. She has a ton of vocal control. strong vocals was what the track needed, and the schreeching only happened in one place, and it was obviously left to evoke emotion. the schreech was actually one of my favorite parts. the melody on the pre hook and the hook is awesome, the beat is awesome, HOW CAN YOU KNOCK IT? And she is pretty well seasoned vocally, just listen to her stuff from pcd recorded and live . and don’t sleep on nicole either cause she can sing better than all these b****** getting number ones. what the hell is wrong with people’s ears?
