Whilst the sales of her competitors slip and slide faster than hot butter on a greased radiator, Adele‘s latest album continues to achieve remarkable feats on charts all around the world.
That’s right. ’21’ is the highest selling album in the world again.
Find out more below…
With 220,000 units sold in the last seven days, ’21’ is currently the highest selling LP in the world despite the fact that it has achieved this feat more than fifteen times within the last 6 months.
Right beneath her is Lady GaGa‘s ‘Born This Way‘ that is still enjoying the fruits of the starlet’s Asian promotional labour.
Beneath Ms. Germanotta resides gal pal Beyonce with ‘4′ which sold 129,000 units this week now bringing its total worldwide sales to 1.04 million, much to the contempt of critics who suggested the LP would get off to a slow start.
Meanwhile Amy Winehouse‘s ‘Back To Black’ is this weeks #10 with 52,000 units moved since the entertainer’s passing last week.
On the singles front, Katy Perry‘s ‘Last Friday Night‘ is this weeks #3 whilst GaGa‘s ‘Edge Of Glory‘ sits pretty at #4. ‘Rolling In The Deep’ is this weeks #5 with 216,00o units moved this week now bringing its total sales to 7.01 million.
Rap Empress Nicki Minaj has cause to celebrate too for despite being released some time ago, her ‘Super Bass‘ has pounded its way to #7 with 180,000 copies sold in the last seven days alone.
Congratulations to all.
