  Honestly, BeYAWNce is struggling. Being number one says nothing. The album was stale and overhyped. How long do we expect to see her in the industry? New blood is slaying Bey. WaiT until Rihanna rereleases her Loud cd. Bey is a great performer, and I’m sure she will kill the stage, but she simply relies on her performances to make up for her lackluster music. Be real….. Why are none of her singles hitting number one? Only having a number one album says that people only like her for her stardom…not her music. Rihanna had 3 number one singles from Loud alone…..

  Oh and poor Lloyd! Polow had tweeted that his album was set to sell around 15-20k but I am actually suprised it did that bad. I was thinking at leask 50-60k since he had 2 hit singles and some decent promo. He did the BET pre show, George Lopez, 106, some radio interviews. All his performances were solid & the album is getting pretty decent reviews. I guess people just weren’t checking for him. This is worst than a Ciara bomb. SMH.

I never thought it was possible for me to be any more impressed with Beyonce. once I started listening to I Care and worked my way down I was completely blown away. This was probably at 2am in the morning. Then it gave me a high for hours! No lie! It’s my favorite cd of hers and I’m particular about my music.   one of the reviewers summed up the album as a journey through the ups and downs of a mature relationship. thats why its so cohesive thematically and sonically. if a song like RTW wasn on it, then it would be missing a piece of beyonce which is why i think it was released first to capitalse on beyonce’s niche(i’d liken it to gaga’s choice for BTW as lead single) the deluxe tracks were the perfect strings to tie up this package cus none of the standard tracks went “there”

  Excellent point, RTW was sort of the odd ball in this batch. I think it was the song that Bey wanted there for a specific purpose. She probably knew it was a first single after she finish recording it. I still think it deserves a lot more respect than it get at the moment, but I feel that it introduced us to the “4″ sound and her following up with EOT (which was even more melodic and catchy) was similar to it in some ways. Both songs were experimenting with different sounds and I think her plan with approaching things this way ultimately paid off!

That showed me how much of a real artist she is, she could have easily followed the trends. I say it all the time – but I believe most of the music this year will sound the same when we look back on it. This album will be a standout.   The leak was both good and bad. She gained an understanding from people that heard the album in it’s entirety. RTW, was the icing, it wasn’t the meat of the album. I think once people eventually heard where she was coming from this time around they gained a persepctive on “4″. This album speaks volumes about Beyonce’s musical integrity. No matter what it sells, this may be her most significant album. It will be cherished down line, believe me!

  Good I was on vacation for all of last week.Saw R Kelly in concert on the 28th of June and Got My 4 cd,I’ve really enjoyed it.Its So Uplifting!!! “Smiling”.We also spent a week in Miami,with my family,I had a blast.Its Beautiful and So So Hot In Florida.But I really enjoyed myself. Can’t wait to see Beyonce in concert again.Didn’t you say you were at Glastonbury and touched her hand.Lol!!!!   say what you want abut “Run the world (girls)” but it conveyed the right type of hype for beyonce’s album which I think got it to sell besides the heavy promotion. I think it’s a fun catchy song. Only thing I wish is the album would have more songs that matched that criteria instead of the generic and boring unclimatic ballads that are just “ok” imo.

Not only is Seoul gigantic compared to anywhere I’ve ever lived, but the people and the way things are done/set up are so much different than America.
