Yaaaaassss! I LOVED it! Melanie looked beautiful and s*** but NOT over the top! This is how you give s** appeal without looking like a s***! Some artist should take notes! Nice story line and a lil bit of drama! Very good video! So proud of her! It’ s good to see her team going all out for a good video especially since her sales haven’t exactly been stellar!
I do have a few complaints, or rather questions about the video. I don’t get why she was clearly happily seeing him off in the beginning when the song is about wanting him to be with her instead of out all hours of the night. And it seems weird that he is out drinking and partying with friends then gets drugged by some random groupie then he leaves to drive off. Why would she drug him just to let him leave on his own? Did she want him dead and if so, what’s her motive? *shrugs*
Maybe with the video for her next single will continue it so we can see what happens next. The video was very intriguing and left you wanting more.
Hopefully this video will help the song on the charts cause I don’t even see it in the top 50 on the r&b charts. *sigh* This song is too beautiful to flop. Can’t wait for her album!
