The Business…On Rihanna & Chris Brown Reuniting

Rihanna and Chris Brown set the net alight this week when they premiered not one, but two collaborations. Indeed, the former couple tackled the Bajan’s ‘Birthday Cake’ and Brown’s ‘Turn Up The Music’.

Given the circumstances surrounding their abrupt break-up (see: “the incident”), many are understandably livid.

I’m kind of on the same page as you. Disappointed. Confused. Dumfounded. Shocked. I agree that they’re both great songs, but, seriously, what was Rihanna thinking? I’m hoping at some point in time (and by that I mean REALLY, REALLY soon), she address the public and explains her decision to do this – – and all of those snarky remarks on twitter aren’t helping her any either.

On one hand, I know we’re not entitled to any sort of an explanation, but I think if she cares at all about her image she will.

They did well… Songs are both on point

Patrick they showing the world that although things can’t be forgotten you can forgive and move on.

Sometimes it is ok to give someone another chance.

Don’t know if they should be a couple again but they obviously have feelings and A LOT of lust for eachother.

Ri may not be the powerhouse great singer but she makes hits and her sound is her own and she sounds good on studio versions.

I don’t buy her albums as i know what i’ll get BUT i can’t knock her hustle of bringing out really good singles that the public eat up like a kfc meal.

At the end of the day she relevant and there’re many artists that are not role models but we shouldn’t rely on them to be either.

The two cultures do not, obviously, understand each other. You cannot judge Rhianna by American standards. And, we cannot judge Chris by Caribbean standards. Hence, because we are the same color (ethnicity) does not mean that we belong.
Manners must be understood on both sides, then the relationship can proceed.
