    way better than the original.

  2. D.Scott February 17, 2012

Wowwww. I knew Jessie J could sing, but her We Found Love cover is on another level

  3. Scott February 17, 2012

I cannot take Jessie J seriously she will always be a singer who takes on black styles and is not better than the original.Misha B showed her how to do her own songs a career built on hype.

  4. kimberly February 17, 2012

I think jj does that f****** deliberately, just to prove how much better she can do it. Tackle something else jj, something that will challenge your ass

  5. Boo! February 17, 2012

I wish she would stop with the voice theatrics, b**** we know you can sing! Ugh! Anyway I love this version of WFL almost as much as the original. it really is a beautiful song when you strip away all the club beats ands synths. Not here for Domino (Katy Perry rip-off).

  6. Those That Cannot Do…Stan February 17, 2012

    YES!!!!

Everytime I hear this song on the radio I can’t help but think how amazing it would sound coming from someone with a powerful voice like Jessie J!

    My prayers have been answered.

  7. TEAMDOUCHEBAG February 17, 2012

Pretty good effort. Sounded 3/4s as good as Rih’s. Yeah, nice try.

  8. David February 17, 2012

She should be trying to do songs from the gr8 late Whitney!! she if she can hit the notes that bring everyone to a stand still!! ! Not into her trying to rip off Rihanna and i used 2 love JJ but she should just stop.

  9. JP February 17, 2012

JJ sounds great but I prefer Rihanna’s *studio* version.

  10. Justathought (Azealia Banks is coming…) February 17, 2012

Wow I actually hated this song until I heard this cover. I love it.

  11. Onyx February 17, 2012

say whatever you want but everybody covers this song, is by far Rihanna’s best single and Music Video because is different, you don’t see a lots black girls doing songs beyond R&B.

  12. Mely B February 17, 2012

@ Onyx: you don’t see a lots black girls doing songs beyond R&B.

Yes you do, people like you just aren’t checking for them nor do they get the shine that Rhi gets.

  13. Dev February 17, 2012

Theres no doubt that she can sing…. buts theres also no doubt that shes annoying, oversings everything (and not in that good good gospel way) and that here runs and ad libs are repetitive.
Its funny that after all the hype its the generic songs like price tag & Domino is thats whats made her famous

  14. Onyx February 17, 2012

    @Mely B
maybe but since she is more famous i listen to her.

  15. rob February 17, 2012

    she does wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much

  16. Edward ponton February 17, 2012

All y’all have to be Rihanna fans cause she killed this s***. Rihanna version is nice and all but come on

  17. Idk February 17, 2012

I agree she can sing. However, for artists who have an incredible voice, restraint is the hardest, yet most powerful tool. (See: “We Belong Together”)

  18. Stans Make Me LOL February 17, 2012

Thank you @Edward. They can’t just say “oh that was a good cover”, they feel that by putting down Jessie their loyalty and bond to the Rihanna is some how made even stronger (sad).
Both women are good artists (in their own right) and Jessie killed this cover… End Of.

  19. LDN February 17, 2012

That way soo pretty! Better than the original imo.

  20. ASAP (As Sincere As Possible) February 17, 2012

Her ‘WFL’ was brilliant..for the first 2 minutes! She oversang A LOT after that, like she always does, but the first 2 minutes were great. And I’m not here for ‘Domino’ (or for her next equally generic single for that matter)

  21. Roman February 17, 2012

LOL ok we all know Jessie can sing and yes she covered it ok, but she couldn’t do it justice. She didn’t have the swag for it and b****** pls, she was over singing and trying too many things with her voice. Honestly it sounded like a vocal warm up rather than a performance. I’d love to see her doing a stripped down song, no vocal theatrics pls

  22. NICK February 17, 2012

    I LOVE HER VOICE!!!

  23. Always love you, Whitney (RIP) February 17, 2012

wasn’t expecting it to be slow. It’s very mariah carey-like and obviously she has a huge talent. I want her to cover whats my name.

  24. Tbozfan10 February 17, 2012

I keep seeing this lady’s name around, but I still don’t know who she is or what kind of music she does.

  25. JER February 17, 2012

F*** Jessie J. Oversinging stranger ass b**** from the BeYAWNce school of SWAGGERJACKING. Get your own f****** songs and your own sound. She tried to come all urban chick and when that flopped suddenly she’s a Katy Perry clone with “Domino” and when people finally realized that WASN’T Katy Perry, the song flopped out of the Top 10. Jessie J needs to fly back to the UK and have all the seats on that damn jet.

  26. Rara February 17, 2012

Jessie’s cover sounds so much better and it’s different.

  27. grammy dammy sammy February 17, 2012

and this is the same jerk going on about Beyonce attention-seeking. it’s pretty obvious now, one attention she doesnt have to bother seeking, she pretty much runs your minds. make one statement without referencing Beyonce, go on, i dare ya pyscho

  28. commanderofthedancefloor February 17, 2012

it would be so much better if she stopped over singing every little part!! i liked her original material like do it like a dude (a son she originally wrote for rihanna), and price tag! also riris voice made that song, just saying! lol

  29. miss honest February 17, 2012

She sounds good and has a much better voice then Rihanna

  30. Vegas Girl February 17, 2012

Yaaasss Jessie! Her voice is really good, yes she does overdo the stylings but most people CAN’T do what she’s doing. She should use it a bit more sparingly.

I just want her to do better songs.

  31. whyohwhy February 17, 2012

She is the white Yoland Adams but the girl can sing and as usual put Rihanna to shame, that’s how you know you have talent when you can work a song, dont just sing a long with it, make it yours! Blue Ivy crying sounds better than Rihanna. Rihanna is a fake! AUTOTUNE

  32. Saetana February 18, 2012

When artists sing for Live Lounge they usually do one of their own songs plus a cover version of a recent hit, Rihanna fans should feel flattered that she chose that song out of all the others rather than getting annoyed about a version that sounds nothing like the original. Personally I don’t like all that trilling she does, it gets old fast. Her live version of Domino was much better ;o)

  33. @antertain February 18, 2012

Jessie has her signature over do vocals BUT she can sang her a*** off.

Good that she has fun with it.

    Hot vocalist

  34. YouAlready Know February 18, 2012

For the fool that made the comment about black girls not going outside R&B, its because every time a black girl sings they call it R&B, there are plenty of black women singing other genres, blame your the limited mind of your people for not categorizing them by genre, because black people know how to!

  35. chrissy February 18, 2012

grapejuice is so ant- rihanna every other comment on this “KISS CHRIS BROWN ASS SITE” is dedicated to destroying our generations next best female artist Queen Rihanna keep hating grapejuice and jesse Rihanna is queen of the charts and nobody give a care about either of you. And by the way Chris brown career is two minutes away from a bobby brown future, Rihanna is the real talent and will forever be our 21st Century Whitney.

  36. said so February 19, 2012

I can’t stand Jessie J ever since she was reported to be angry at Misha B ( UK XFactor contestant) for singing her song on the show. The girl sang Jessie’s song way better than Jessie which is why Jessie got angry. She over-sings anyway, plus I just don’t get her at all with that stupid make-up.

  37. Dorsey February 20, 2012

    LOVE IT !!!

  38. Lamone March 4, 2012

Wow this is incredible! If she actually had some good songs of her own she would be huge!

  39. Lamone March 4, 2012

Wow this is incredible! If she actually had some good songs of her own she would be huuuuuge!
