It was a good luck for her, but when It comes to her new album it was a good move, and the UK Xfactor schedule is a crucial one .. So she made the right choice ..

Look. I didn’t even watch the video….it looked like it was long winded.

Had Katy Perry or Cheryl accepted the seat Simon would have been replaced her the week she called in sick. Story over. They stitched her for Tulisa but she was not smart enough to turn it around so later.

Kelly played herself, she got into her own hype because the public LOVED the edited her during the audition stages. It was obvious they cut a lot because I saw moments of friction between her Tulisa & Louis after a couple shows but was hoping it was just me.

Mistake #1. By the live shows she was making no sense in her critics and doing too much and when she chose to vote off one of the favourites to win in show one (which was almost justified) she started to lose favour.

Mistake #2. Her reaction to the Bully accusation should have been calm and professional cause the mainstream do not want to see a black woman on TV getting loud and angry and no body. She then chose to fly out the following day and then calling in sick and it was almost a wrap.

Mistake #3. Had she returned and laughed it off, apologised, even staged some sort of mock me thing to poke fun at herself. She didn’t. Instead she allowed the beef with Tulisa & Louis to go on, stopped being professional, fun and constructive and failed to turn it around.

She sealed her own fate. I really was a fan from original DC days but its obvious she was never really the confident star in the making.

    ..(I just can’t resist..) “HERE I AM”… ; – 9 (wink) * frantically waving arms*

    (In any case..)

Is this “Patrick” dude delusional? Is he illiterate? Maybe that’s not it. Maybe he’s chooses to dunk his head in the sand and chooses to continue the farce that NOW AND WAS “Kelly Rowland”.

The reason I’d ask? Well, FF to 4:57: “They (X-Factor U.K.) asked her to come back.”

    ..er..Patrick – X-FACTOR DIDN’T ASK HER TO RETURN – here, have a read:

“Kelly was NEVER given a contract to look at by bosses. Simon has remained a big fan of Dannii’s and wants her back.”

“But now it appears Kelly Rowland may have actually been dumped from the panel so show boss Simon Cowell could pursue former judge – and flame – Dannii Minogue to make a comeback”

“And her departure was inevitably left down to Simon Cowell, who reportedly felt SHE HAD FAILED TO CONNECT WITH VIEWERS.”

“The 31-year-old singer also reportedly tried to demand that her £500,000 pay be tripled if she made a return this year.”

    Here’s the actual link: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2137739/Kelly-Rowland-left-fuming-X-Factor-bosses-reportedly-pushed-make-way-Dannii-Minogue.html#ixzz1tdZ14EiC

She made the best decision to leave. Her music career is more important than the show. If she wants longevity in the music industry she must committ herself to her music, by doing so other opportunities will come open for her. It was a good look for Kelly but her committment to do the show was ultimately the cause of her album not performing well. As a fan I was very dissappointed. I’ve been rooting for Kelly for so many years and I was so proud that she finally got the opportunity to show her individual talents to the world. She was showing the world who Kelly was not Kelly from Destiny’s Child. No one see’s her as that anymore and I’m glad she no longer has to accept that role. I am glad she decided to leave the show and focus on her music. Kelly is the only female in R&B right now representing. I’m very excited about her new project and I am looking forward to her new album and I hope she really brings it with this new album!

Yo Patrick. All of the random commitments your talking about are in the past now. Why would “think like a man” be a commitment now…that doesnt even makes sense. She is obviously talking about future commitments that u nor I know about yet…duh!! Also, being on X factor was a good look but Kelly wants to make it in the US so why would she continue to commit to a gig in the UK when her heart is here in the US. I get it Kelly, you gotta do whats best for you. And being on the X factor is not necessarily the best think for her. and mind u i think she couldnt really promote “Here I Am” like she really wanted (nor get those vids out faster) because of the X factor commitment….just saying

    @Diva what music career ?

Xfactor is going to fall hard this year if they go back to an all white judging panel. I don’t think that Danni will come back i think they’ll ask Jamelia as she’s planning a return to music

It was the best move to leave, as much as I liked seeing her looking beautiful every week, the show would of only dragged her down as an artist, X Factor UK is not a serious talent show, the british media are bullies, its best for her to focus on what’s important and comeback even stronger, I wish her the best of luck, it’s the show’s lost and when it returns, people will see that.

first of all its easy for jlo x factor is much more demanding having to mentor the contestants, plus its in the uk i think kelly is worried about becomin as big a star in the US as in The UK. plus having to be on the X-Factor UK hindered her promotion of Here I Am in The US. She had such a huge hit and how many times did she perform it on live tv? morning shows late night shows? not very much by the time “Lay IT On Me” was released people didnt care anymore. Maybe she also has a tour in the works and more movies. I loved her on X-Factor but ultimately think its a good move for her music career

Last year during x factor kelly couldn’t promote her album, she was gearing up for the fame tour, looking into movie roles…etc. Remember Lay iton me video didn’t come out until 4months later. I think Kelly made the right choice plus That show was prejudice against her.

Patrick you threw some shade at Kelly for no reason. Why ask stupid questions about committments that ALREADY happened taking her away from something that starts in the future. The video is done, she is working on her album has been offered a show and is reading a script. Can the b**** live please? Can she order her OWN steps without somebody saying that she isn’t confident or doubting her?Ya’ll spend so much time doubting her that when it’s time to give her credit you dont know what to do. She is working hard on her next album and xfactor isn’t helping her with that. Focusing on music actually helps when creating an album and that’s what she is doing right now. If you are telling the truth when you say that you want to see her do great then you would have understood that but then you wouldn’t have had a topic for this video now would you…..um k. carry on.

Can we just clarify. She may indeed have pulled out but it was very much the want of Simon, the panel (except Gary) and the X Factor team. They didn’t want nor like her and did everything to ensure she would not return, the fact that they were looking at Estelle tells you they wanted ANYONE. I do, however, think this is the smartest move for her. I actually wanted her to leave when so took the trip home, that would have been exactly what the show deserved and they would have had to find someone else to blame for failure of the show.

A WAKE-UP CALL FOR ALL ROWDOGS:

    1.) 2002 “Simply Deep” — 2-Million World Wide

    2.) 2007 “Ms. Kelly” — 1-Million World Wide

3.) 2008(early) – Colombia Records DROPS Kelly Rowland. Question: Does one “bad” album get an artist dropped? NO! ..Will TWO “bad” albums get an artist dropped? YES! ABSOLUTELY! “Simply Deep”, on a ROI basis, was a FAILURE..!!

    4.) 2011 “Here I am” – With now 10-years as a solo-aritst, ‘Here I am’ will surely be a smashing success given the months-on-end, weekly-access to 12-Million U.K./European ready-n-able ’2011 X-Factor U.K. viewers’, she was given access to as that X-Factor U.K. judge, right? WRRRRRRONG..!! “Here I am” moved less-than 150-K U.K. “Here I am” units (and less-than 350-K WW)..!!

Kelly Rowland = Well-Oiled Perpetual Motion Loser Machine.

    X,Y,”and Z” – BARK, Rowdogs, BARK..!!
