Last year’s ‘Born This Way’ catapulted Lady GaGa from superstar to megastar; a feat made all the more remarkable when considering her humble three years in the limelight.
Naturally, then, it’s a given that anticipation for the paw purveyor’s 4th studio album is at fever-pitch.
Hence, it’s little wonder why the singer’s army of Monsters are rejoicing at the star’s apparent reveal of the LP’s title, ‘ARTPOP’. Taking to her aptly titled social network, LittleMonsters.com, the 26 year old shared the shot above with the message:
“New ink new album”
What’s more, it’s not the only shots posted with the supposed album title featured. Flip the hood for more…

Meanwhile, one of the LP’s confirmed collaborators DJ White Shadow posted the following shot on his Twitter:
The album title? Or an elaborate ploy to drum up buzz ahead of the previously confirmed announcement window (September)? Who knows. What is a certainty, though, is that it’s a great time to be a Lady GaGa fan.
We just hope she serves up more of ‘The Fame Monster’ incarnation of her musical self than the overly out-there and ultimately less interesting ‘Born This Way’ sound/look/feel.

Funny cuz I’m sure elvis and mj don’t fit in the same realm of genres. One is rockabilly/rock n roll. The other is pop/r&b/funk/soul. Madonna and gaga can be compared easily cuz they are both POP. She kinda skated around the question. So yeah the crown can easily be snatched from madonna’s dusty wig by gaga who is putting her stamp on pop culture just by her impact. Im not feeling this title but tbh I couldnt care less. Its all about the music. And from what Im hearing its going to sound like The Fame, which IMO is one of the best pop albums made. GaGa is smart and knows what her fans want. And whether some of you Monsters like it or not, most fans want “The Fame/Fame Monster GaGa” back. I am with them. TF was a master peice. TFM wasnt as good but still epic. BTW was an overproduced hot mess that sounded like Madonna leftover tracks from the 80s. The only songs I liked were Marry the Night, Judas, and Americano.

The only reason why the masses did not enjoy BTW, is because it was not mainstream along with it being beyond the average person’s comprehension. BTW was genius, but her mistake was that it was not mainstream. If GaGa could manage to find a balance between the messages she’d like to convey and giving the fans what they want, she could truly succeed this time around. However, I would have to state my unpopular opinion and say that I don’t want to see the end if BTW gaga. However, I would happily welcome a TFM influenced album. TF was my least favorite era, though still pleasurable.

Born this way was a nice different album. I did actually give the album online a listen. I didn’t buy since I didn’t know what to expect but it was a bunch of euro dance type of feels to it that wasn’t really my cup of tea but the songs weren’t bad. She put aside her urban pop crazed fans to please a different type or see how her monsters would react. Probably to experiment. All artists do this so I wasn’t too upset but I hope at least it’s a different sound on the new album cuz I was sick of that other sound on BTW.

Anyways, the songs come be viewed as offensive to some (a song about judas). It’s not what u say, it’s how u say it, and how she did some of her songs wasn’t in the right way. Also, half of the messages in the song weren’t anything new or ground breaking, just done in a new way. Lol at all the fans… Gaga BTW DID FLOP HOW? Because she was suppose to sell 17 million and instead sold 7 million. Rihanna and Katy Perry did well again, how? Because they extended what they were suppose to sell. Katy and Rihanna are more likely to last because they don’t rely heavily on gimmicks like Gaga does. Gaga’s music is just like Rihanna and Katy’s all the lyrics are about are sex (and maybe a few meaningful songs, barely) and that’s pretty much it. Gaga is no different from Katy and Rih except she relies on her image (that has been done before) and that is why she is NOT an artist.
A true artist will be different but will focus more on his/her’s music. I don’t like Beyonce but I respect the fact that she even though she does have a gimmick, she doesn’t focus on it she’s focuses on her music and people focus on her music too which is what a true artist wants. Gaga is not an artist but a gimmick who wanted to get famous. When people think of Beyonce they think of her music, but with Gaga they think, “What will she wear next?”. Because Gaga relies on an image and people focus on that(her fault) she will not last people are already getting bored with her costumes.

Also another reason Katy and Rihanna did well, is because they did not promote like Gaga did yet were still close with her album sales. Gaga advertised everywhere, trains, subways, buildings, stores, Best Buy and her album sells didn’t even double Katy’s and Rihanna’s album sales how sad. People though are getting bored of her costumes and waking up about her generic music. I laugh when people claim Gaga is an artist when all majority of her songs are about sex. A real artists music consist of their personal lives,politics, or anything important. An artist may even make a song about sex, BUT the majority of their songs will be about important things. And most importantly they will be themselves and won’t try to be Pop/Mainstream nor will try to be famous. Gaga is NOT an artist.
