238k isn’t impressive sweetheart. And quite frankly the fact that THESE are Rihanna’s “best” debut #’s is downright sad. She’s supposed to be some kind of “It” girl, yet she can’t do at least 400k? Even fads like One Direction are wiping the floor with her. And let’s see how hard she tumbles next week.

Sorry era should have had remixes following the single, then go onto got me good.
Got me good needs constant live performances because the song can’t do well just on airplay, as its not appealing.

Actually Sorry is the urban single Got Me Good is the pop single. Sorry is doing well at urban radio- growing every week.
The problem with Got Me Good is that it’s simply not Good enough. The song is boring and even if she performed the song everyday on every major network it would still fail.
Ciara just needs time to figure out how to appeal to the new generation of pop music consumers. She never had to make pop music before because her urban songs always crossed over.
We have a new generation of music consumers now who were not buying music back in 04-08. The game has changed and she is just trying to find her lane that’s all.

READ TO THE HIGH FUCKIN HEAVENS!!! HAD TO REPOST THIS!!! “238k isn’t impressive sweetheart. And quite frankly the fact that THESE are Rihanna’s “best” debut #’s is downright sad. She’s supposed to be some kind of “It” girl, yet she can’t do at least 400k? Even fads like One Direction are wiping the floor with her. And let’s see how hard she tumbles next week.
“Reign”. LOL! No dice. She’s lucky that this is 2012, because her penchant for modest tallies and slow climbing sales would have gotten her dropped if this was ten years ago. Hell, Rihanna wouldn’t have even been able to exist back then. But with the overall bar so low these days, today she can. It’s like throwing the grading curve in a class where everyone (including her) is failing. You must be so proud.
But hey, Rihanna is known for mediocre #’s…so even though these are STILL mediocre, I guess you have to congratulate her for moving up from D- to a plain D.
