This is what extraordinary looks like!
BET Honors is set to add its latest list of inductees to a roster that features the likes of Whitney Houston, Oprah Winfrey, Aretha Franklin, Maya Angelou, and so many of the world’s best and brightest people of color from all walks of disciplines and platforms.
While fans were pleased to hear of actress Halle Berry, WNBA legend Lisa Leslie, and soul/funk legend Chaka Khan‘s inclusion at the 2013 ceremony of inductees, now BET’s giving us more reason to tune in as viewers will be serenaded by the tunes of Brandy, Erykah Badu, Alicia Keys, Ledisi, and more.
Set for taping on January 12th at Washington D.C.’s renown Warner Theatre, fans won’t get their first glimpse of the Gabrielle Union-hosted festivity until its February 11th showing.

Brandy lets get it!!
Put it down.. No more
Wildest dream Brandy no more and shouldnt have ever been
Can we get Do You Know nxt single
211 failed because of late singles and late videos and late promo.
211 was the R&B album of the year no matter what anyone thinks.
The promo was shit!!
Brandy get it together, that album was too good to waste.
In other news rumor is Tamar Braxton is doing the national anthem

Poor Brandy, she’s still promoting that flop Two Eleven album. Time to move on to the next album like Monica has been doing these past months.

I’m looking forward to seeing Brandy performing. I’m not bit on Alicia Keys, but I hope she does well and not be the highlight of the day(in a bad way). I wonder what Brandy will sing? Hmm

Yessssss! Bran get in there & continue to shine! I’m happy to see she’ll be slaying the stage with more of these Two Eleven songs! I hope she starts performing only her third single from now on (if she doesn’t sing more than once at these gigs). Can’t wait!

but you love Brandy? Shut the fuck up. The artist of the 90′s aren’t worried about records sales anymore. Just to know that they’re still here and still can remain in the spot light obviously they’re doing something right. Oh and by the way I bought the album. Grow up

I bought the album and so did all my friends. How do you love someone and in the same breath declare they’re done? You don’t love her, you don’t even know her because if you did you’d know damn well she ain’t done. #fraudulentfan

People should chill with rushing Brandy and her 3rd single. It’s coming and so is more promo which is why she’s been performing at every event known to man the past couple months. Don’t forget that she is on aTV show and still doing shows at various venues across the country. They aren’t done with Two Eleven, they are only getting started, remember spring is around the corner and she has a plethora of up tempo singles to release.
I think that people nowadays especially the under 25s are used to this microwave era where 5 singles are released at one time with 2 videos every week. Brandy is old school and though the game has changed, it doesn’t apply to vets. She has classic work that doesnt need to be shoved down throats. so I’d rather them take their time than rush everything to please an impatient and fickle crowd that will move on to the next if they don’t hear a new single every week.

Yeah Brandy is a vet, but Two Eleven has only sold 140k copies. The album is amazing and it deserves more recognition. She needs to drop a single (Do You Know What You’ve Got) NOW, and get the ball rolling. This is coming from a Brandy fan of 17 years. Vet or no vet, she needs to do something!

I have a feeling the rehearsal video the other day of Scared of Beautiful was for BET Honors if I’m not mistaken. Hopefully that is a 3rd single along with Without You. Those two should be released before Winter ends.
Sam, what has the album done so far in terms if numbers? That would be a good post, thanks.

Scared of Beautiful would do worse than Wildest Dreams if they released that song as a single.
