Question, do you think Chris Brown may be in on the stunt as well? I now know that the tweeter beef with Frank, Chris and Odd Future, or whatever that group is called was publicity that introduced Frank Ocean to a mainstream crowd. Prior to that beef no one really knew who he was. Chris Brown fans were googling him and the Odd Future fans kind of already knew him. I feel like Chris was introducing him, and since Frank later came out he had to initially appear “tough” by dragging Chris in his tweets.
I sometimes think that Chris willingly plays into his bad boy persona as it is a part of his branding. Yes, it’s a stereotypical image that white America loves to foist on black males, but his fans love it and he’s still very much the super star overseas, and in the States.

Most artists today sales don’t match their hype. As much as Frank has been celebrated and critically lauded, his album should be at least double platinum. It’s becoming more and more obvious that media stunts and all the attention they generate don’t translate into sales. They get people talking, but not buying. It’s the artists who shut up about their personal lives, don’t try to market drama and who just sing the damn song who’re more likely to attract the attention of real music fans (who have better things to do than to fight with other fans on blogs) and move units. Frank only pretends to be reclusive, private and an artist who’s about his craft. Behind that phoniness, he’s no different from Chris, Rihanna, Gaga, Britney, Nicki, Drake and the rest of them who try to sell an image and market drama.

No One MADE Chris fight, No One made Chris post a picture of him comparing himself to Jesus, No One made Chris put up a picture of his swollen hand… IF the Illuminati orchestrated this chance meeting.. It was Chris who let his actions speak for themselves.

The only person I can think of who managed to avoid that curse and not drop completely out of sight is Christina Aguilera, her last 2 album sales notwithstanding.

Mariah Carey won Best New Artist for her self titled debut album. She has gone on to sell over 200 million albums.
Adele won Best New Artist for 19. Then 2 years later she released an album called 21 and sold over 25 million albums.

I don’t trust Frank as far as I could throw him. He strikes me as being a sneaky opportunist who pretends to be understated and real, but is actually pretentious and manipulative. The gay thing is the only thing notable about him. Delete that from his celebrity and there isn’t anything else.

It’s sad because I am a fan of both men for different reasons but I cant help but feel that Frank is using CB for attention. CB was living the studio so Frank and his goons were obviously waiting for him outside. It’s sad that he feels he has to do all these things to be noticed. I am so glad I found your site.I made up my mind to quit smoking not because I wanted to but to stop complaints from the wife.I used to smoke roll ups ,but thought I would give e cigarettes a try using discount codes found on your site I sent for The Steamlite Kit,The Skycig And after reading the reviews of yourself and others I am now waiting for the Jacvapour to arrive.It may sound like a big outlay but I would have spent that amount on tobacco this week and my last tobacco cigarette was smoked a week ago and I feel great.The only problem I have is I now have three different systems that do not connect to each other so people should read the reviews like yours and make one selection……unless you know a way to marry the batteries to the different cartridges
