Seven years after the birth of last album ‘Walk With Me’, reports of a new LP from Jamelia both confuse and excite fans who remain in the dark as to why it’s arrival has taken/is taking so long.
So, perhaps in an effort to remind the world of the voice that took 2003′s ‘Thankyou’ to Double Platinum status in the UK, the ‘No More‘ singer teased fans with a mini cover of the Frank Ocean classic, ‘Thinking About You’.
Prepare to be stunned below…
Nice!
As long time fans of the ‘Superstar‘, we can’t wait to hear what she’s been cooking up during her hiatus and hope she has plans in place to ensure her comeback is just as potent as the skill she served in this cover.
For, with a voice like that and an aesthetic like this, there’s no reason she couldn’t reclaim her Brit Pop ‘It Girl’ status if armed with the right material and major label backing.
Backing, that would see her afforded all the luxuries needed to help her win back the public’s attention and reestablish her commercial value just in time for release and serve as a launching pad for the next stage of her 14 year career.

TGJ is right about this chic, full of potential, not so much over here in the UK, perhaps she could(ve) been a sensation with the right mentoring..

I was here for Jammy until she tweeted something so distasteful about the other ladies of Destinys Child. She really needs to understand that referring to other artists as The Supreme to Beyonces’ Diana Ross, when you never had 1/10 the money or success of the fired members let alone the final line up.
Keep it cute Missy. The last I heard they were calling you the poor mans UK version of Kelly Rowland.
