The US may be a little unsure of her positioning, but the UK just can’t get enough of the Pop force that is Nicole Scherzinger.
Launching her debut album ‘Killer Love‘ in the market in 2011, this year will see her continue work on her sophomore release spearheaded by the single ‘Boomerang‘. A single, that has secured the singer her sixth Top 20 single and her fourth Top 5 in the competitive market.
Coming at #6 last night, the single’s sales this week saw it outsell Drake‘s ‘Started From The Bottom‘, Rihanna‘s ‘Stay’ and Macklemore‘s ‘Thrift Shop‘.
Undoubtedly one of her strongest releases to date, the success of the number comes after her Toby Gad penned ‘Don’t Hold Your Breath’ peaked at #1 and follow up ‘Right There’ stormed the charts to claim the #3 spot.
Thus far, her debut album in the nation has now surpassed sales of 140,000 units- securing it a Gold certification. Impressive, considering the UK’s small population when compared to that of the US’.
Well done Nicole!
