According to Yahoo and US Weekly, the ‘My All‘ maestra is in talks to birth her first global outing this decade, following the success of 2006’s ‘The Adventures Of Mimi tour‘, which generated a reported $85,134,796 for the Pop royal.
While details on the show remain sketchy and unconfirmed, murmurs of its existence were no doubt spawned by the success of her new single ‘Beautiful‘ which continues to rise on charts across the globe- a positive indicator of how well its supporting album will do upon arrival.
If Carey is to tour in aid of the album, one has to wonder if this will affect her chances of returning to FOX’s ‘American Idol’ for a second season with scheduling conflicts given no choice but to ensue.
However, with the world finally falling back in love with the entertainer again, there’s no doubt the prospect of taking her new album to adoring (paying fans) across the world -doing what she does best- is far more attractive than returning to a job she honestly wasn’t good at.

Mariah wasn’t bad at American Idol! And I think it would be something she improves at if she does it for a second season. Its a job you have to kinda warm into.

Musically she gave some of the best advice from the panel and coming down to the end especially I think she was alot better than the rest of them especially when discussing singing technique and styles of music suited for each contestant.

I mean, successful first single with a big change of style, promo on point so far only comparable to The Emancipation and first part of e=mc2, I know that this is not important but she is looking gorgeous clearly thinking about the launch of the project, some critical praise already with just one single, etc, etc. Details on the album are promising too.
I can´t wait.
And no, Mariah has never been the biggest touring act, she´s more songwriter/creator/sanger. But like @dossome stated numbers from her tours clearly indicate people would pay more to see her than to see Rihanna or Beyonce (and the rest of the girls people are talking about on here… I mean, come on, leave that for a lesser post 🙂 )
