He tried too hard to be different after Confessions and moved so far out of his lane that he doesn’t know how to get back. The fans are pointing him in the right direction, but he’s not listening.
Agreed. Usher had a winning team with Jermaine Dupri and Jam & Lewis as his primary producers…with sporadic others like Babyface, Pharrell, Lil John. Then he f***** it up by replacing them with bland ass Rico Love and Jim Jonsin, then f***** up even worse by trying to go pop with Max Martin, RedOne, will.I.am and Diplo.
