If your a true fan of Mariah Carey, then you know her voice is not the same. So, I’m push the like button because Lovebird is correct. Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey was the best in the business. We know what happen to Whitney Houston voice, but I wonder what happen to Mariah Carey voice. I never heard her using drugs, so what happen Mariah Carey fans.
These kids kill me. Find me any athlete, olympian, dancer, bodybuilder, vocalist etc that after being in their respective game for 20+ years performs the same at 43 that they did at 23? I mean really people. It is called aging imperfection, wear and tear. For MC to even still be a clearly viable entertainer getting top billing yet alone a 12 day promo with a major network is nothing short of amazing. It’s called longevity. something that the lessor acts all yall rave about know nothing about. Has MC voice aged over time yes. Is it the same voice that debuted a #1 single and album 20 years ago? No. But on her worse vocal day now 20+ years later she still, can will and does out sing pretty much everyone in the top 10 today. That’s all.

having vocal nodules since being a kid and singing non stop for over 10 years can do some things to your voice. Do you know how complicated Mariah Carey songs are? you barely see people cover her songs because people already start the song off with the wrong note!
