Omarion is back.

The R&B crooner, who is now housed at Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group, is gearing up for the release of his rather literally titled new album ‘Sex Playlist’.

So as to whet appetites (and perhaps more), the former B2K’er has premiered lead single ‘You Like It’. Will you, though? The answer awaits after the jump…

A wholly edible slice of bedroom flavoured R&B.

After years in the wilderness of mixtapes and messy delays, it’s great to see O back on track with a song that gives a nod to the brand of radio-ready R&B that he oh-so-skillfully served up with his debut.

The years of erratic 8-counts may be behind him, but should he keep churning out material like this – he’ll have the brightest of futures ahead of him. Kudos.

So feeling this joint! This is the Omarion that I’ve been waiting on! The evolution from when he first came out til now! (sure he had his bumps but now he’s back to his roots) Good ole R&B not that repetitive turn up music! Keep these classic’s coming Omari!

It’s a cool track. It’s the sample they used that makes it worth listening to. But those overproduced vocals? Wow.

This is how Ciara fooled us with “Sorry”. So hopefully Omarion will stay in this lane.

I was not understanding why so many people were complimenting this track until I reached that minute mark, but by the end of the track I was all in it. He did that! Glad to see O is back!

He’s too aggressive on this track, boarder line yelling. I’m missing his smooth and s*** voice. Signing with Ross was a mistake, he needs La Reid behind him. If Ciara is still getting chances out here (not sure why) Omarion can make it too.

SOOOO UNDERRATTED HIS CARE PACKAGE 1 & 2 MIXTAPES ARE INCREDIBLE BODIES OF WORK! IM ACTUALLY EXCITED FOR THIS NEW ALBUM!

Cool song sadly no one cares…Some of these artist just don’t know when to let go. No one has cared enough to get Omarion a gold hit or album in the last 9 years or so, Icebox was a nice hit for him and only managed #12 on the Hot 100, it’s been a fast free fall for him every since.
The writing has damned there been spray painted with gold on the wall for Omarion to see that this current and last generation has moved on completely!B2K weren’t that big of a group for him to be huge in the first place..
The song is really nice though, and I have all of his solo albums and mixtapes, I’ll continue to support him if he keeps giving us quality music, he gives us another Ollusion styled album and i’m done!
Never heard a full Omarion body of work? I suggest 21! That album is great, and still sounds fresh 8 years after it’s release!

Still not sure why he signed with Ross but I really want him to win.

Omarion has journeyed to Japan for his latest musical adventure, which he chronicles in the video for new single ‘Word 4 Word.’ Jointly directed by the singer and Deji LaRay, the slick visual is the latest to be lifted from ‘Reasons’ – the crooner’s fifth solo offering. Though initially set for release almost… Read More
