Chris may have found himself a new hit in the song ‘Loyal‘, but we doubt a hit song would do much to comfort the Pop prince today, now that his current jail sentence has been extended to a further 131 days.

TMZ reports;
Chris Brown has just been sentenced to spend another 4-plus months in jail … for violating his probation in the Rihanna case … but the reality is, he could be released by week’s end.
Brown was in court Friday afternoon … where he admitted he violated his probation by getting into a fight with a dude in Washington D.C.
That’s all the judge needed to hear. He sentenced Chris to 1 year in jail. HOWEVER, Chris got credit for 116 days he spent in rehab, and another 59 days behind bars. That leaves 131 days in the pokey.
But we’re told the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept has been releasing inmates sentenced to 1 year after 240 days. And here’s the thing. Chris gets credit for 2 days for every 1 he served behind bars, so when you add it up, he has credit for 234 days — 6 days shy. So he could be released in days.
The judge could have gone a lot harder — 4 years in prison. But Chris got a break because the judge took into account he was recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder, which could account for some of the violence.
The judge also ordered Chris to attend therapy sessions with a shrink 2 times a week. And he must submit to random drug testing 3 times a week.
Chris is not out of the legal woods … his D.C. assault trial is set to start in the following months.
Had he been a free man, this week would have marked the release of his latest album ‘X’, led by the feel-good jam ‘Fine China‘ and the Nicki Minaj-backed ‘Love More‘, performed during his set at the 2013 BET Awards.

I see it now! I guess it’s because at 25, she was physically in her prime. From her weave game to her skin to her body, homegirl looked ON POINT. I also think the B’Day album was the most natural representation of her artistry so she appeared to be at her happiest. And yes, I watched The Beyonce Experience and was slayyyed down! That’s when I REALLY became a fan, lol. I think once that DVD came out, nobody could deny that she’s an amazing performer. Plus, the fact that she’s gotten even better says a lot about her work ethic. Long live King Bey 🙂

SMDH at Chris Brown!!! I called this a while ago. Had Chris served four months in jail back in ’09 as opposed to opting for probation, he would’ve straightened up. But he was 19, scared and chose the easy way out. For that, I don’t blame him. I know not everything is his fault but I think he got too carried away with the perks of being a famous Pop star. Imagine of he had to go to jail for a year?! He’s lucky and when he does come out, he should thank his stars because he’s had so many chances and still has his fanbase on his side. I’m not so big on his music anymore but I hope all this opened his eyes. Next year will mark a decade since Chris’ entry into the business. It’s sad that half of this timespan was marked by legal issues.
TGJ is so supportive of Chris. I like that. But if you saw the recent court pics other sites are using for this story, you’d probably cry. He looks like all the life has been sucked out of him. So sad.

At the same time, sometimes God will allow things to happen to us in order to get our full attention if there is something that he wants us to see or change. His song “Loyal” made it to the Top10, so at this point, people are okay with him slaying the charts. They just didn’t appreciate the fact that he got off easily on the Rihanna case.
It’s up to Chris now. If he wants a life free of anger and guilt, this is his chance. Do the time. Learn to have some structure in your life: a time to sleep, a time to eat, a time to go for a walk. Get to stay mute for a day instead of buzzing around and snatching fans phones. Learn to focus. Maybe enroll for a degree or something.
