Nicki Minaj has been getting some great beats lately, i.e., Chiraq. Outside of that, this song is no Right Thru Me. It doesn’t solidify Hip Hop. She has single-handidly sold out the genre. It’s weak to be honest. She’s trying to replicate Pink Friday. But after Young Money throw all their money into it and it gets repeated on the radio, it’ll grow on us. But weak, yasss Bish.

Well since you want to try and state facts, actually “Massive Attack” was set to be the lead single but it flopped so hard they went to other songs.
The only reason why “Super Bass” was even released as a single was because Taylor Swift” promoted the song and allowed it to receive worldwide exposure and then they decided to release it as a single.

That’s the truth. And Nicki did not even plan to release Your Love because she didn’t like the song. It was leaked to radio and received great feedback so she hurried to make a video and it became the single. Notice how she has never really sung the entire song live? She use to let it play in the background while she threw t-shirts to the audience. To this day, she doesn’t really care for the song.

I think it will do well. Its a slow breakup song, plus…it feels very summery with the “I still love, I still love, I still love, I still looooove” part AND this is the extended version. It’s going to be shortened up for the radio so it’ll seem less dragged out like it does now. She should’ve only done two choruses instead of having it at the beginning too. And at least she is putting out a single with substance.

I think Nicki is smart when it come to how she can succeed. Very similar to Katy Perry in terms of choosing singles. Like with “Roar” it was a single that everybody could relate to and it was uplifting so everyone enjoyed it no matter the demographic. Pills N Potions is the exact same, its relate able and uplifting so every person will enjoy it. I was just hoping for something I could dance to like Superbass or Beez in the Trap but I think it will do well on the Pop charts.
