Don’t forget my album is out May 27th!!!
We gone kill these basic industry biiishes!
Be-yawnsay, watch my first-week sales slay!!
i’m obsessed….i need all my performers ciara, omarion, and the queen J to release dope singles and visuals this year….real performers come back
Hmmm. I still see that ridiculous afro/mohawk and swagfag clothing. I want all traces of his atrocious L4M era to die so I can pretend that it never happened. Give me clean haircut, white tee, baggy pants wearing Ursher from the “U Don’t Have to Call” era.
Ewww it’s not 2001 anymore. The GP would clown him!
There are still plenty of guys who walk around today looking like Usher did at that time [2001]. How Usher is looking TODAY is what’s gonna become “dated” eventually, because it’s more OTT, specific and trendy to now. The even-all-over faded cut is timeless and never goes out of style but in a few years, people are gonna look back on his afrohawk and tight pants and laugh.
You’re just used to a Madonna/Rihanna/Katy. That switches everything up on every era. Most artist don’t or can’t do that. Even JT got some slack for “sounding the same”. Most artist just can’t throw everything they did out the window, it’s apart of them, it’s groth. L4MS is apart of Usher, rather you like it or not, it was needed for him to get to the next level. You bring up his old era, failing to realize that he’s not 17, 21, 25 anymore. You’re sounding like Britney fans that always want her to look, dance and act like she was in her t*** years. Like Jay Z said, like my old s***, buy my old albums.
Glad to see Usher back to some good R&B music; I think he’ll be showing these male artist how its really done.
Lol, plays: Strawberry Bubblegum by Pop Prince JT.
S****** is a fool
Loved it, a lil 70’s/James Brown vibe. Danced his ass off. Usher, KING!
Eh.
This song is a jumbled mess. Like he picked up some discarded Jason Derulo song on something. Usher is experimenting too much with his sound, trying to appeal to kids and is losing himself in the process because he seems to not really know who he is musically anymore. I don’t know who produced this, but it almost sounds like a Max Martin production trying to be “urban.” When it comes to Usher’s music, he needs three main collaborators: Jermaine Durpri, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis and Babyface. That’s basically it. Pharrell on occasion, but not predominately. He better get his s*** together because another underperforming album that is bypassed by his longtime, core fans who feel alienated/underwhelmed by his latest music will basically transcend him into has-been territory.
I’m in shock the song is trash!
I love Usher, but this gives me JT vibes and it aint good…
Why is the video out??? The song isn’t even on iTunes yet
FLOP!
Usher came weak, I’m not feeling it. This almost reminds me of “Pop Ya Collar.” I sense Usher becoming the latest in a long line of veteran artists delaying their albums after the intended first single underwhelms.
you ppl are young. this song is amazing. I almost missed out just because of the title. like it a lot.
I LIVE for the shade between Blondie & Marky Mark
the song hasn’t grown on me yet…
But i love this video
I’m not feeling it.
i like the video alot with its choreography and the beat is so good but i’m not sure about the lyrics. they are quite lame to be honest. good production though
btw that little female dancer is going places! i’ve seen her in ciara’s got me good video before, super talented
I hope this is the era of R&B Usher
I like the song and video. I like that the song has a different type of r&b vibe to it.
I think I like it. It´s cute. Nothing spectacular. But different from his first singles lately.
I like the rhythm and vocals in the song; just not the lyrics. As for the video, Usher’s look is boring and he doesn’t seem to be as invested as the dancers. In the era of “Yeah”, Usher had amazing energy. If he’s eating well and staying fit, there’s no excuse for him to not offer more as an entertainer.
Well good luck with that. I’ll need to be more impressed with the rest of the music on the album before I consider buying it though. I was a hardcore Usher from his criminally underrated 1994 debut album all the way up to Here I Stand. Everything that came after has been more miss than hit for me, so much so that I can’t settle for just “OK”. I need to be WOWED in order for my fanatic enthusiasm to rejuvenate itself, and this song/video doesn’t do that. This is something that could only work sandwiched in between something else that was stellar so that it could feed off of it.
is that Fo from ANTM? LOL
I don’t quite know how to take in Usher anymore. I can’t tell if he’s trying to get back to his real self after jumping on the electropop bandwagon or if he’s just pretending to be getting back to his real self while secretly trying to jump on the current “Urban pop” bandwagon. I wish he had stayed all the way true to himself and his real fans during that 2010-2012 dance pop hell. Yeah he would have flopped for the time being, but no one would be second guessing him now.
I adore this song but I’m scared to watch the video. It might ruin it for me. So I won’t. And this song is already on iTunes and I bought it.
Some of y’all really don’t know good music. This song is too dope. When he performs this live >
Loved it-
I love this site, but enough with the Reebok Skyscape ads that take up more than half my screen. The ad doesn’t have a close button and it never goes away. D***!
Tameka was by far the best stylist he had she knew how to present him. The video is boring and a big mess This is not usher, being a core fan i m dissapointed.
I was hooked in the beginning but then he lost me.
i m pretty sure this song is an intro of the album. The most suprising thing was the trademark U chain which was missing throughout the video.
I love the originality of the song.
Usher’s strategy is crystal clear to me: to win the grammy for best solo performance for each album.
And by the sound of it, he will make that happen again.
In mama joyce voice “on to the next page” lol
Love it… love me some Usher….. He still the king baby….. haters aint nothing but admiers….. my thing is this If I dont like an artist why am I even looking at their videos or listening to their music… u must like me u watching the video… and listening to it….. only people Im comments on is the people I enjoy listening to or watching … its, alot artists that Iam not a fan of I dont even go on that page or website to make negative comments… just dont get it…. anyone God bless …… continue success Usher…… you’re the best….im going to follow people I like I dont have time to follow people i dont listen to or not a fan of….waste of time …. too postive for that …..Yeah man
