Clearly putting more effort into ironing out the kinks with her choreography (see: deer in headlights look, stiff 8 counts, etc.), ‘Focus’ comes as yet another demonstration of the singer’s quick growth in such a short time.
A risky move on the sonic front as it may be a bit more rhythmic than the pop’ier anthems of her last project, we’re keen to see what other gems ‘Moonlight’ has to shine. For, if ‘Focus’ is any indication, Grande has some serious heat on her hands!

I like how artists nowadays release the video the same time as the single and not wait weeks or months later when the interest for the song has died down.best way to utilize the streaming component to your advantage.

I love her and I don’t wanna shade her, but her hair really does look cheap. As soon as I saw the artwork for the single I was pissed! I don’t know why she has a hairstylist and her real hair is still damaged, yet she’s damaging it even more by wearing those heavy, bulky weaves. Because Adele has a budget because she sells albums. Labels don’t pay for videos anymore unless you’re Taylor, Adele or Rihanna (she sell a lot of singles, so yea. But even Def Jam only payed for the first two videos of each of her eras, the rest she payed for.) Others make deals, Beyonce had Pepsi and I think she pays for most of her video. Other lessors grab as many sponsors as possible (Nicki with anaconda) and have them pay for it. Ciara Dance Like I Even Had A Chance had Chrysler, that clothes line, Beats pay for her video.
Christina Aguilera’s “Your Body” should’ve been a top 5 hit on the Hot 100. I pains me to say that I’ll never be able to understand why that song didn’t smash like it rightfully deserved to.

It wasn’t bad, it’s solid for a pop song. There was a lot of awkward movement in the video, but she’s not a naturally s*** girl yet. I won’t listen to this song more than once, but it’s a great single for a little buzz. It’s says “hey look at me” and that what she needs. What I like about Ariana is that she’s a fast learner and I always see a lot of growth when she comes around with new music.

First of all, Ariana sounds like she has a mouth full of rocks in her mouth when she sings. Tamar is much better singer than her. So, let that sink in & seethe if you disagree. Secondly, she has zero star power. She started at Disney and she’s still at Disney, despite her use of an expletive on her latest (bad) song (oh so ‘edgy’). Third, this is hurricane Adele season. NO ONE survives. Thinking you’re special is silly and leads to unnecessary heartbreak. Finally, Miley Cyrus is a much better writer than her. Tinashe is much better dancer than her.
