Armed with the success of ‘Pillow Talk,’ Zayn Malik is marching on to March 25th – the day his debut solo album ‘Mind of Mine’ lands in stores.

The 23-year-old, who departed One Direction a year before the group’s break-up, has emerged as force in his own right.

Indeed, with his moody, melodic brand of Pop-Urban, Malik is endearing himself to a whole new audience – and it’s paying off handsomely.

That trajectory continues today with the release of promotional track ‘BeFoUr’ (his spelling, not ours).

Take a listen below…

Yet another solid cut from what is shaping up like one delicious album.

This album is shaping up to be one hot ‘Alternative-Urban R&B/Pop’ album… Keep the jams comin’ Zayn! 😉

I picked up on the Middle Eastern influence in the production. I never checked for 1D’s music but I would always hear people say Zayn had the best voice. His range is pretty impressive on this track.

Already better than his former band members. Will be buying this album. He’s truly talented! You can’t hold that back!

After a few listens, I really like it. His range and those runs towards the end of the song really showcase his vocals. A mellow bop.

I’m sure when it’s all said and done, that Metacritic score will be in the 70s. The music is thought-provoking with great beats, so you can’t go wrong with that.

I hear a lot of The Weekend’s sound in all of Zayn’s songs, but I’m not tired of hearing Zayn (yet) like I am of The Weeknd. Lots of similarities.
