Nearly one-in-three eligible voters in this yea’s U.S. Presidential election will be of colour.

With this in mind, the Republican nominee Donald Trump made his way to Detroit, Michigan with hopes of winning over the valuable playing card that is the African-American vote.

At the same time, over at MSNBC, the mogul Diddy weighed in on the election during a conversation with the Reverend Al Sharpton.

In it, he revealed that he feels that the Democratic Party uses the electorate to secure power and does very little to cater to its needs once said power has been secured.

It’s why he feels African-Americans should “turn the  heat up” on Hillary Clinton.

Watch below…

I think we got a little bit shortchanged. That’s not knocking the President. There’s a lot going on — a lot of balls for him to juggle — he’s done an excellent job, you know, but I think it’s time to turn up the heat because the black vote is going to decide who is the next president of the United States.

Ms. Clinton … Hillary Clinton, you know, I hope she starts to directly talk to the Black community. It really makes me feel, you know, almost – hurt that our issues are not addressed and we’re such a big part of the voting [masses].

Diddy isn’t the first public figure to address the Democratic Party’s supposed used and abused of African-Americans.

Do you agree?

That’s what I was thinking, he’s making a point but this election is too important Trump would cause mayham expecially for ones that don’t look like him or not in the same pay scale.

He’s obviously confusing the Black vote with the Hispanic vote. Hispanics are nearly 20% of the population. They will decide the election.

The truth. Please protect people of color from police brutality. Train these guys like the military. Hold them accountable for doing poor jobs, and being the real gangs. Build communities within so kids can have hope. Every other group was fought for except Black folk.

What was the Civil War fought for if not to abolish slavery? What were the Civil rights marches and fights over if not to end segregation and to treat African Americans as equals? What was Love v Virginia if not to give men and women of any race the right to love freely?

It wasn’t Black people alone that participated in these events. It took millions of White people to allow for these events to succeed. Black people have been fought for tremendously. It is an insult to say otherwise.

Don’t need anyone thinking or speaking for me. If you want to do something for African Americans and not your people, trying funding more school as you have done in New York. You are now that 1% do more.
