Cardi B set the music industry on fire today when she became the first female rap artist to top the Billboard Hot 100 solo in 19 years.
The feat, while celebrated, has only intensified suggestion from some that she’s gunning for Nicki Minaj‘s “spot.”
Don’t believe us? Just check Minaj’s mentions on Twitter and Instagram.
However, the leader of the Barbz is not buying into the notion of any kind of feud. Instead, she’s supporting her fellow New Yorker.
See what we mean below…
Taking to Twitter, the 34-year-old said the following to 24-year-old Cardi:
Congratulations to a fellow NEW YAWKA on a RECORD BREAKING achievement. Bardi, this is the only thing that matters!!! Enjoy it💕💞🎀 @iamcardib
