Unfortunately personal problems with his mom kind of stalled his career. I also know that she passed away a few years ago. I can say Mario is one of the best male singers of his generation in my opinion.

He’s one of my favorite artists, but “Let Me Help You” was a better song. The lyrics in this new single sound amateurish. I hope he picks better tracks for the album.
I really hate how the people on this site are so quick to call people irrelevant, dated, etc. maybe it’s because I’m a musician who knows how hard it is to get/stay in the game. But when you have music in your heart, you’ll keep going regardless.
That said, MARIO has a great voice. This song may not be my fav by him (I love: “crying out for me”, “how do I breath”, “just a friend” and “let me love you”) but I’m still going to support him because he’s a good dude. I never heard of him in ratchetness. His mother put him through a lot. I’m rooting for him like I root for Ciara.
Mario has a gorgeous voice, and this is a nice song but it will go nowhere. It sounds a little dated but I’m glad he’s sticking to R&B without gimmicks. He has my support!
Mario always sounded amazing to me & his music can’t be dated while we all love the 90’s sound!!
