After months of speculation, creative chameleons Black Eyed Peas have announced the news many of their fans had been dreading.
Today on ‘The Ellen Show‘, the quartet have made a formal announcement regarding the future of the group.

Though plagued with a number of growing unfavorable headlines, anticipation for tomorrow’s Michael Jackson Forever tribute is still mounting. And while fans ready themselves for the Jamie Foxx-hosted extravaganza featuring performances from the likes of Christina Aguilera, Ne-Yo, Jennifer Hudson, Beyonce, and more, news has surfaced two formerly expected A-list guests won’t be in attendance – Chris Brown and Black Eyed Peas.
Much like Michael’s pop superstar sibling Janet Jackson, their absences are not being received well by fans and critics of the show. Unlike Miss Jackson, their reasons – in Chris Brown‘s case, especially – weren’t exactly voluntary…
Last night saw fans of Pop quartet The Black Eyes Peas treated to the ‘CHASE Presents The Black Eyed Peas and Friends “Concert 4 NYC” in support of the Robin Hood Foundation, which supports innovative poverty-fighting organizations in New York City.
Delivering renditions of some of their oft loved material, Fergie, Will.I.Am and the other two were armed with their ever eye catching attire and well thought out stage props throughout the entire performance.

With a bill that features such top acts as Lady Gaga, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas, Jennifer Lopez and more, it should come as no surprise that the iHeartRadio Music Festival sold out quickly. However, official reports have revealed the mega-concert, whose tickets went on sale to the general public on July 16th, sold out in less than 10 minutes.
Fans who were unable to get tickets should not fret, however. For the two day event, scheduled to take place at the MGM Grand Casino in Las Vegas on September 23 and 24, will be live streamed via video and audio on all of Clear Channel’s radio station websites.

In what will undoubtedly come as a shock to nobody many, pop supergroup Black Eyed Peas are taking an ‘indefinite hiatus from working together’, according to lead singer Fergie. The announcement comes on the heels of two successful albums, world tours, and a slew of hit singles.
However, the ‘London Bridges’ singer was sure to emphasize that the break was not permanent stating, “We’re going to be taking a break just like we did after we released Monkey Business in 2005 until we came back in 2009…This isn’t going to be the last time you’ll see us.”
The group is currently in the middle of their ironically titled ‘The Beginning.” tour.
Black Eyed Peas beauty Fergie is Allure Magazine’s cover star this month.
Hitting stands on June 21st, the issue features an in depth interview with the 36 year old, a feature which sees her discuss how she feels about age and more interestingly the problem she says she has with group member, Will.i. Am.

The Black Eyed Peas‘ last album ‘The Beginning’ may still be gathering gathering dust on shelves, however that hasn’t stopped the foursome from pressing on. Their most recent promo stop was last night’s Dancing With The Stars finale, where they lit up the stage with a performance of new single ‘Don’t Stop The Party’.
