Stream: Black Eyed Peas New Album ‘Translation’

Published: Friday 19th Jun 2020 by Rashad

The Black Eyed Peas are powering on as a trio and have today unwrapped ‘Translation’ as the latest addition to their musical portfolio.

Serving as the group’s eighth studio album, the project sees the sonic adventurers embrace Latin sounds, a cause assisted by the likes of J Balvin on smash hit lead ‘RITMO,’ as well as Shakira, Ozuna, and Becky G.

Also featured is Maluma, who joins BEP on ‘Feel The Beat’ – the video for which was also released today.

Check out after the jump…

Alot of music that nobody asked for today.

      BEST…LINE…EVER!

If Fergie isn’t with them, I’m not checking for it! They lucked out with RITMO, but I can’t see them having another major hit without her. Something about their dynamic as a 4 person group worked well, and can’t be matched.

They still flopped even with fergie. Remember her last album was such a disaster. Here’s her star moment https://youtu.be/CMA2iF6RuXk

Their last album was good and this single is pretty good…so far this new album is good it’s like they brought back their Bridging The Gap album style and modernize it to this climate

Translation is not one of their best attempts. Nothing in the music answers the question of why it was important to BEP to make a Latin album. It would’ve made more sense to just infuse their traditional sound with Latin elements.

Also note that they got a new member now – J.Rey Soul. Another Blackasian sis making it big alongside Kehlani, H.E.R and SAWEETIE 👍👍

And yet they are ignoring her by not having her featured on the cover. That’s messed up.
