mwfb Listen:  Michelle Williams Teases Fantasia Collabo

As reported here,  ‘If We Had Your Eyes’ hitmaker Michelle Williams was eyeing a collaboration with R&B soulstress Fantasia for her next project – her first gospel offering in nearly 10 years.

Christened ‘Journey To Freedom’, the Harmony Samuels-produced album – due 2014 – has already garnered praise from fans on the hems of its two lead singles ‘Eyes’ and ‘Fire’.  But, while Williams puts the finishing touches on the latter’s music video (reportedly due before the month’s end), she took to Instagram moments ago to finally lift the lid on the long-awaited Fantasia duet.

Whipping fans into a frenzy with just enough to whet appetites, the DC3-graduate gave fans a quick snippet of what they can expect from her divalicious collaboration with the ‘Bittersweet’ songstress – due in full tomorrow:

The songstress, who recently released ‘Fire’ – the second single from her highly anticipated return to gospel ‘Journey To Freedom’, brought “the heat” in a way her Instagram followers had yet seen when she slammed a commenter for suggesting her involvement in the “Illuminati”.

Feast your eyes on ‘If We Had Your Eyes’ singer Michelle Williams’!

As the gospel hitmaker readies fans for the musical journey that is ‘Journey To Freedom’ – her fourth solo LP – she took to Facebook moments ago to unveil the single artwork for its follow-up titled ‘Fire’.

Given the heat that was ‘Eyes’, it’s undoubted fans expect no less of its follow-up to live up to its moniker.  But, with Harmony Samuels at the helm of the album’s entire production, we can’t see why it won’t.

Set to make its debut in full tomorrow, click below to get a full glimpse at the single artwork before you hear it in its entirety.

It’s been an interesting 8 months for a certain outspoken ‘Heaven Sent’ hitmaker named Keyshia Cole.

Indeed, the songstress has been embroiled in a series of attacks (sent from everywhere but Heaven) from fans of former Destiny’s Child members Beyonce and Michelle Williams for her comments regarding the divas – namely the latter who she notoriously slammed for her participation in the 2013 Superbowl half-time show.

Williams, who is ramping up promotion for her forthcoming 4th album ‘Journey To Freedom’, recently called for a “woman-to-woman” chat with Cole to discuss the reasons behind the initial attack.  While her first response to the invitation wasn’t welcoming, today saw the “I Changed My Mind” maestra take to Twitter to say:
