Rita Ora Bumps New Album To January 2015 / Calvin Harris Drama To Blame?


Rita Ora is currently riding the wave of success with her stint on Iggy Azalea‘s latest single ‘Black Widow’.

However, fans of the Brit-bred singer will have to wait a while for her own album.

The set is preceded by ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ – which despite hitting #1 in the UK looks set to be christened a buzz single in light of new developments with its parent LP.

Usher & Jennifer Hudson Join ‘Fashion Rocks 2014’ Performance Line Up



With just a month separating her from the release of her third studio album ‘JHUD,’ you can definitely expect to see Grammy-winning songstress Jennifer Hudson in many-a-spotlight as the date draws nearer.

Already bringing her powerhouse vocals to the ‘Today Show’ (click here if you missed it), now word has it she’s joining the already jam-packed lineup at Fashion Rocks 2014.  Set to be presented during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York, the Ryan Seacrest-hosted affair will air from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Sept. 9.

Hot Shot: Rita Ora Cosies Up To Sam Smith At ‘V Festival’


Both Rita Ora and Sam Smith have been making quite the name for themselves in the US. However, the pair proved home is where the heart is when they took to the stage at the UK’s ‘V Festival’ today.

23-year-old Ora showcased a concoction of tracks from her new album, as well as chart-toppers such as ‘R.I.P’ and ‘How We Do’, while Smith thrilled the audience with rousing rendition of hits from his blockbuster debut ‘In The Lonely Hour’.

Peep the stars cosying up and posing up backstage above. Interestingly, Rita captioned the snap:

V Fest with my baby @samsmithworld VMA’S were coming for you! #britishtakeover

As at writing, only Ora has been confirmed to perform at the VMA’s, which begs the question of whether she let the cat out of the bag re Smith’s (potential) showing. Watch this space!

Rita Ora Stars In New DKNY Commercial / Previews New Song ‘A Little More’


Rita Ora‘s brand hustle knows no bounds.

The ‘Black Widow’ belter has bagged herself an extended endorsement deal with fashion house DKNY.

Having previously posed to promote the label’s jeans line last year, 23-year-old Ora fronts the campaign for the company’s new MYNY fragrance and today unwrapped the first televised commercial for the scent.

The spot features a new song titled ‘A Little More’, which is believed to be lifted from the Roc Nation darling’s upcoming new album (which’ll serve as her sophomore UK effort and debut US release).

Needless to say, the gig certainly stands as quite the coup for the singer’s LP.

Calvin Harris Responds To Rita Ora ‘Teen Choice Awards’ Drama


Calvin Harris is renown for his quietness. However, the hitmaker is refusing to stay silent regarding comments made by ex-girlfriend Rita Ora.

As widely reported over the weekend, the singer’s performance of ‘I Will Never Let You Down’ at the Teen Choice Awards was abrupt axed – with multiple sources stating that it was Harris (who produced the song) who exercised his right to block the performance.

23-year-old Ora confirmed the story as true during a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest. The result? Intense debate among the public about the right and wrongness  of her words and his actions.

It would appear all the hoopla has made for Harris to speak up and out to offer his take on the matter.
