The showbiz arena was rocked earlier today when reports of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett divorcing begun to permeate the media scape.
However, in news that will no doubt appease their legion of supporters, the power couple have released a statement addressing the matter.

The stars came out full force last night for the Tony Awards 2010. Sitting front row were Beyonce and Jay-Z, the latter of who co-produced the hit musical production ‘Fela’ along with Will and Jada Smith (who were also in attendance).
Michelle Williams also was in the house, taking to the stage to perform with the cast of ‘Chicago’, which she is currently starring in.

A long list of celebrities (from A to Z-list) came out the simultaneous premieres of Michael Jackson’s ‘This Is It’ which were held in various cities around the world. Venues included New York, Los Angeles, London and a several others. Peep the action below:

Former ‘American Idol’ judge Paula Abdul made it to the event as well (clearly without the help of a stylist).
Finally, we have Vivica A. Fox, who was also wearing black (see what I mean!), looked sexy in this little (and tight) number.
A brand new cut, said to be from Ciara’s ‘Fantasy Ride’ LP (due early 2009), surfaced today – a collaboration with singer/song-writer The Dream titled ‘Keep Dancing’.
The airy, laidback feel of the song is a real juxtaposition to the song’s title- which suggests something more uptempo and hard-hitting. For what it is – a decent R&B slower paced effort – it’s works. Though, I sure hope Ms. Harris is cooking up something of a higher caliber than this, as much of the material I’ve heard thus far sounds very hit or miss.

Damn lol. How old was Brandy when ‘Moesha’ was on, again? Regardless, it was still pretty lame of him to start opening his mouth now about the supposed occurrences. Considering he has a project coming out, I guess that was the free publicity was rationale behind his loose mouth. It’s worked too. SMH…

Will Smith’s much-anticipated new superhero flick ‘Hancock’ was simultaneously released in both US and UK yesterday. Though generally receiving a ‘so-so’ response from most critics, the film is poised to deliver Smith’s highest grossing debut to date, with early projections touting somewhere in the region of $80 Million being grossed in its first weekend.
Judging by this stage outfit, it seems Rihanna has let loose her inner-stripper. The ‘Umbrella’ singer is currently on tour here in the UK in support of her current album ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’. As sexy as she may look, one has to wonder if it’s all a bit much. I mean, it comes across kinda desperate to me.
Will Smith’s latest film, post-apocalyptic thriller ‘I Am Legend’, has grossed a whopping $76 million at the US box-office during it’s opening weekend. Exceeding initial estimates of $25 million, the film’s huge debut has earned its place as the highest December opening of all time. {Source} 
Amy Winehouse’s tour manager has up and left the embattled ‘Rehab’ singer, claming that working for the star was harming his health. See the report below:Troubled Amy Winehouse has been dealt another blow today after her tour manager quit amid drugs accusations.Thom Stone walked out on the singer just a day after she had a meltdown during a gig in Birmingham, swearing at fans and falling over on stage.
Mr. Stone confirmed he had quit after it was said that he found working with Winehouse and her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil who is currently behind bars, was harming his health.
The last straw was when Amy, 24, and Blake were arrested with cannabis in Norway last month.
The Sun reported today that doctors found heroin in Mr. Stone’s system after he inhaled it passively on Amy’s tour bus.
The tour manager is said to have produced a doctor’s note which revealed traces of the class A drug in his blood.
“He insisted to the management team that the only way that could have happened would have been through inhaling it from Blake and Amy. Thom just had it up to here. It was a nightmare job,” the paper reported. {Source}

How and why she is still allowed to perform when it’s common knowledge she’s a crack head is beyond me. Someone needs to stop all this before it’s too late. SMH..
