Jada Pinkett Smith is no stranger to headlines – especially in recent years. Years that have seen her marriage to Will Smith thrust into the spotlight and scrutinized like never before.
Indeed, there was the “entanglement” with August Alsina and Will slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars over remarks he made about Jada.
Now, in yet another dramatic twist, in a sit-down interview with Hoda Kotb to promote her new memoir ‘Worthy,’ Jada has revealed that she and her Will have in actuality been separated since 2016 – seven years ago.

In the unique reveal, Jada stressed that the couple have been living separate lives for seven years – yet don’t plan to divorce as they’re “figuring out” what their partnership looks like moving forward.

They are still legally married. They never divorced. But they don’t live together and supposedly have been living separately since 2016. So, technically, until they file for a divorce, which they supposedly have no plans of doing, she is still his wife. They probably also still have feelings for each other and he is apparently still protective of her.
