DC is coming for Marvel’s neck.

The real story is that the second trailer for Batman v Superman is out and it was as good as the first one. It shows the film explains Man of Steel ending as seen from Bruce Wayne perspective. I can´t wait. Looks awesome.

And yeah I agree DC has a lot more to offer. I mean, the Marvel flicks can be fun but you forget about them the moemnt you leave the theatre. On the otehr hand, most DC films have depth, amazing scores and the actors are actually allowed to show their skills. Marvel flicks have gone too far into appealing-to-all-audiences-territory (kids). They are really basic. The Dark knight remains the best comic book movie ever.

I guess it doesn’t matter cause it’s working for them. But to this day Marvel still lacks a serious villen. They rely on comedy than story structure. Sure you’ll have a great time laughing, but when it’s all done, that’s all you get, laughs. And this is MCU, the other marvel films been ok, good to bad.

It´s not like the comedy is good either. Nice for kids and entertaining. I wouldn´t give those films more praise than that.

Let’s not forget how Marvel tried to blacklist ‘Blade’ and act like it wasn’t part of their roster (even though it was their first comic adaptation, and one of the first with a black lead). Blade wasn’t exactly the best series but it still deserved its props (mainly because of Angela Bassett). I think Black Panther will be good though, hopefully they will do the comics justice.

LMAO actually scrap the Angela Bassett part, I’m getting confused with Vampire in Brooklyn. I stand by everything else I said tho

Marvel didn’t have the rights to Blade, because they just now got it back. The first Marvel studio film was ironman. The other films were made by other studios that Marvel sold the film rights to.

      • AnnaliseKeatingsNewWig July 12, 2015

It was the first production by Marvel Entertainment Productions, before they did their own releases back in 08.

      • Mark111 July 12, 2015

Yes, but New Line had the rights to Blade. Making it not part of Marvel studios. BUT it was the first successful Marvel property to make it to film and a trilogy.

They’re already showing a full trailer and the movie is more than a year from release?? They’re gonna lose momentum waiting that long.

Marvel film studios is making a mockery of themselves at the hands of Disney, Im glad DC seems to be coming for blood!
