Underground was an awesome show — the drama and pacing of Empire with the historical significance of a PBS documentary. It was history brought to life.
I think the budget problems could have been solved by minimizing filming locations. I mean, half the show was shot in the woods anyway. Tyler Perry is the master of doing this, but the danger is dragging the show down with too many filler scenes and too much banal dialogue.

Please don’t make Teagan a love interest for Annalise. Viola Davis always looked so awkward in her love scenes with Annalise’s former gf Eve.
