Thanks for posting this. However, if Janelle Monae wasn’t in this film, you would probably not have bothered. I don’t know why this site doesn’t promote more out gay artists and films, other than Frank Ocean. Maybe you all are unaware of whats out, or only care about whats going to get the most clicks.

Wow. They put Janelle in the movie so that websites would support it. That’s the whole point. Please be grateful for the support.

After learning that he is gay? Is it a disease? Does one go to bed straight and wake up gay?

People discover themselves so that’s clearly what they meant. People take years to discover who they really are.

My skin really crawls when I see educated people use the term gay to label a person’s sexuality. Gayness is a lifestyle not a sexuality. The term homosexual is the correct word to label a person’s sexual orientation. That’s probably why there’s a story to tell in this movie. Every homosexual isn’t “gay” and every “gay” person isn’t a homosexual. Come on, TGJ. You all are higher than this. I actually highly respect how you all write. Keep putting out quality writing.

Excuse me? Gay and homosexual are one and the same. A person is still gay if they are attracted to the same s** but doesn’t sleep with the same s**.

I’m proud of TGJ for posting this trailer so many black Urban blogs would do it yet again making us look crazy to white people not supporting our own. But a lot of Black LGBT people visit this site & I don’t know if Sam is LGBT or not but this is really cool.
