Mo’Nique set the internet ablaze with her Club Shay Shay interview.

And while much of the discourse centered on her claims of being blacklisted and grudges against the likes of Tyler Perry, Oprah Winfrey, and D.L. Hughley, it’s her brief mention of her oldest son Shalon Jackson that now looks set to become the latest headline grabber.

Speaking frankly with host Shannon Sharpe, the comedienne admitted that she and Shalon are estranged and do not speak. She said she hoped the universe would bring them back together.

However, breaking his silence, Shalon (who is also a stand-up comic) countered with a very different version of the story.

The first trailer for ‘Wicked’ the movie was unveiled moments ago during the Super Bowl 2024.

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo star as Glinda Upland and Elphaba Thropp respectively in the hotly anticipated Jon M. Chu production.

Model, reality star, entrepreneur, and actress Kenya Moore expands her growing filmography with the forthcoming Lifetime movie event ‘Abducted off the Street: The Carlesha Gaither Story.’

Based on a true story, the film chronicles the abduction of a Philadelphia nurse’s aide by a homicidal criminal and reveals how she fought to survive by creating a trail that would ultimately lead to her rescue.

Also starring Riele Downs, Sam Asante, Dylan Taylor, Aidan Devine, Jennifer De Lucia, and more, the Katie Boland-directed flick is set to land on screens February 10.

There’s no love lost between D.L. Hughley and Mo’Nique. And, after the latter lit up the drama afresh during an interview on Club Shay Shay, it appears the beef in back on the griddle.

As extensively reported, the comedians clashed in 2022 over remarks Mo made about business dealings relating to a show they both performed on. Speaking during her stand-up show, she labelled Hughley a “b*tch *n*gga.”

That resulted in an online war of words between the stars, which shockingly saw the outspoken comedienne rope in the m*lestation of Hughley’s daughter into the discourse. A move she eventually apologized for.

However, in the wake of her making less than endorsing comments about Hughley during her already viral sit-down with Shannon Sharpe, her rival has let rip in a major way.

Mo’Nique is speaking up and out in the wake of Taraji P. Henson‘s viral interview about unequal pay as a Black actress.

As reported, ‘The Color Purple’ star broke down in tears when relaying the struggles she’s encountered receiving equal parity.

Many made an alignment between Henson’s sentiments and those Mo’Nique articulated during her public beef with the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Lee Daniels, and Tyler Perry relating to ‘Precious’ and the fallout that followed.

The latest installment of the wildly popular horror-thriller film franchise ‘A Quiet Place’ is ready to make noise at movie box offices once again – this time in the form of a prequel.

Considered the first official ‘Quiet’ spinoff, the new flick shows how the residents of New York City – one of the globe’s most populated (and noisiest) metropolitan areas – fares against the alien invasion that demand silence when they first arrived to Earth.
