Alicia Keys & Crew Visit Good Morning America

‘Superwoman’ singer Alicia Keys is definitely trying to live up to that title with her growing number of endeavors. Already said to be working on the follow-up to 2009′s ‘The Element of Freedom’ and composing an original score for the upcoming Broadway play ‘Stick Fly’, Mrs. Beatz also recently brought her talents to the director’s chair for Lifetime’s ’5′.

As reported here, joined by co-directors actresses Jennifer Aniston and Demi Moore, Good Morning America caught up with Keys and crew as they chatted about the women’s network film and more. Check out Keys in action after the jump:

Throwback Footage: Beyonce Attempts To Restrain Lil Mama

To say that the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards was an eventful evening would be an understatement.

From the Kanye West/Taylor Swift fiasco to Lady GaGa‘s blood stained rendition of ‘Paparazzi‘- the ceremony was unforgettable to say the least, especially when Lil Mama‘s unexpected interruption of Jay Z and Alicia Keys‘ performance of ‘Empire State Of Mind‘ is thrown into the mix.

However, what isn’t so well known is what happened right before the ‘LipGloss‘ Rapper found herself on stage next to Keys And Carter and exactly who tried but failed to stop her from ruining the now famed performance.

Alicia Keys Shares Well-Wishes For Beyonce

Alicia Keys may be in the studio prepping the follow-up to 2009‘s ‘The Element of Freedom’, but the absence of new music certainly hasn’t kept her off the promo trail. Her latest project, Lifetime’s ‘Five’ (Demi Moore,Jennifer Aniston), has seen Keys covering many-an-outlet including Good Morning America Monday morning and attending the premiere later that night.

Speaking with Extra’s A.J. Calloway (of 106&Park fame), Mrs. Beatz dished on the film and also shared well-wishes for ‘Put It In a Love Song’ co-star/mommy-to-be Beyonce.

Watch: Mary J. Blige Performs At Paper Magazine Awards

In support of her upcoming album ‘My Life II‘ , R&B royal Mary J. Blige graced last night’s Paper Magazine Awards with what can only be described as a show stopping performance.

Delivering renditions of some of her more well known material, the ‘Be Without You‘ songstress enjoyed the company of Alicia Keys and Estelle who were also in attendance.

Hot Shots: The Beatz Don’t Skip a Beat

‘SuperWoman’ songstress Alicia Keys (joined by husband Swiss Beatz) was spotted with actresses Jennifer Aniston and Demi Moore at the ‘Lifetime Five’ premiere at Skylight Soho in NYC last night.

The trio (Keys, Aniston, and Moore) took the director’s seats in their joint effort for the women’s network to produce ‘Five’: a series dedicated to sharing the stories of breast cancer victims and how the disease has affected their lives.
