Rihanna Reigns On UK Singles Chart

Published: Tuesday 10th Jul 2007 by Sam
There seems to be no stopping Rihanna here in the UK. The singer’s monster hit ‘Umbrella’ spent its 8th consecutive week at #1 on the Official UK Singles Chart. Though, I’m growing tired of the song, there’s no denying that it’s an amazing achievement for the Bajan star. She’s really establishing herself as viable artist here.

yea i agree with you there, it is stating to get overplayed now on the radio, music channels ad anywhere else. i think its a good song but im hoping “stronger” by kanye will knock her off her topspot ova here in th UK

i think it’s been 5 or 6 weeks over here in the u.s. but party like a rock star or something might interrupt her reign though i don’t know. i don’t listen to the radio like that, i’m pulling for really rowland to release more singles lol soo off topic!!

Good, the UK can keep her.

The song got old FAST. Sadly, hit singles don’t make you a viable artist. Rihanna isn’t that talented…she’s been lucky to get some well produced material. The truth is, she’ll never be a true “A-lister” when it comes to music…she doesn’t have the talent.
