With Tyler Perry’s ‘Why Did I Get Married’ set to hit theatres on October 12th, Perry along with co-stars Jill Scott and Janet Jackson were guests on the Oprah show yesterday (October 3rd). Check out the videos from thier appearance below:

It was a really great interview, with all of the cast coming across well. A tidbit for the Janet fans (and stans lol): it is rumored that the ‘cheating fiance’ situation she was talking about pretty much explains her broken friendship with former choreographer Tina Landon. Anyway, back to the film; it looks like it’s going to be good. Be sure to check it out when comes to a theatre near you as from next week.

I was in the audience that day. It was ok. We got treated to a screening of the movie Tuesday night. The movie is EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!! Everybody has to go and see it. The show was ok, I was hopping for more audience participation, that kinda let me down. I must say though. Jill Scott is one s*** woman! I Wish Oprah talked to her more. IT was more about Janet, and hearing the same ol same ol. WE also got Jill Scott’s new album as a gift as we were leaving.
I was sooooo excited. I wanted to see the interview so I am happy that I did. Janet looked amazing. That is one of the best looks that I have seen of her in a long time. What I wanted though was for Oprah to talk to Jill Scott more. Especially since she has an album that just came out (its hott as hell too)and that I have heard that she performed the best in the movie. So i would have definetly liked to have heard more from her. That interview I feel could have been a bit better, but I liked it none the less. Got to see both Janet’s and Jill’s faces in the spotlight for a sec. I can’t wait to see the movie.
Tyler is a funny and smart guy. Janet looks beautiful but I wish she would open up just a little. Kind of felt like Oprah was nudging her a little to talk about her role. But I was quite surprise about the not saying anything to a friend if she sees a friend’s partner cheating. Was she talking about Tina Landon? Jill Scott is a very big reason as to why I really want to see the movie. The woman can obviously ac-T! The interview was great. I enjoyed it. Nice to know you can count on Oprah for a decent interview without making it about herself unlike some. cough~Tyra~cough
Yeah Oprah kind of ignored Jill, but Jill is so classy. She would not have been salty about it.
Janet looked gorgeous. I can’t wait to see the movie.
JANET IS SO, SO BEAUTIFUL I LOVE HER AND JILL SCOTT. OPRAH LOVES HER SOME JANET JACKSON BECAUSE THEY WERE ALMOST SISTER-N-LAWS BECAUSE OPRAH HAD A CRUSH ON “JACKIE JACKSON” HE IS VERY HANDSOME. ACTING IS WHERE JANET STARTED FIRST, AND SHE KNOWS HOW TO ACT, JANET HAS THE ENTIRE PACKAGE OF ACTING, DANCING, SINGING, AND BEING HUMBLE, SHE IS A VERY HUMBLE PERSON, I WOULD NOT TELL MY BEST FRIEND EITHER IF I KNEW THAT HER BOYFRIEND CHEATED, BECAUSE IT COULD MAKE THE RELATIONSHIP EVEN WORSE, SO JANET DID THE RIGHT THING BY NOT GETTING INVOLVED.
Janet Jackson is the most beautiful black that god made, I can not wait for her new movie, album and then she is touring with her brother “The King of Pop” Michael Jackson. I will be there!!! Keep doing your thing Janet we love you for being who you are, and we love you for being humble and not fake, and not wanting to stay in the spot light forever!!! I love Janet, Jill and Tyler
I waited all day for Oprah to come on! I liked the interview. Tyler is funny but I agree that she should have talked to Jill more and asked her about her new CD. I was wondering what happened to Tina!! If I were in that situation, I would confront the boyfriend or fiance’ and tell him to tell her in a certain amount of time. If he didn’t tell her then I would. I was surprised Janet didn’t say anything but that is a very tough, sticky situation.
