Irrespective of how good the song/video is (neither are all that great IMO), I can’t help but feel that the handling of Ne-Yo’s second album has been a mess. After the success of the single ‘Because of You’, none of the chosen singles have made much sense to me. ‘Make It Work’ has ‘single’ written all over it, yet it seems to have been shafted in favor of lesser songs – considering ‘Go On Girl’ is likely the last single to be released from the album. Damn, You’re right. That ‘Make it work’ track is perfect for him, it sounds like classic Ne-yo from the last album. It has been a mess, I’d rather release ‘leaving tonight’ rather than this
Disagree. The singles chosen have been the albums strongest cuts but for some reason they just haven’t caught on. Do You was brilliant; I can’t understand why it didn’t blow. I love Go On Girl and I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed.

I think you guys are being extremely harsh seeing that I have come to favor this on the second album most. Again it might have something to do with the diffrent approach many artist have had towards the U.K. and U.S. Hopefully if he does decide to release another song, hopefully it will be that make it work song you guys are talking about.
