‘Ms. Kelly: Diva Deluxe’ (UK) Cover

'Ms. Kelly: Diva Deluxe' (UK) Cover Following the massive success R&B star Kelly Rowland has been enjoying here in Europe as of late, the singer is set to release the revamped version of her ‘Ms. Kelly’ album in physical form (as opposed to the digital-only treatment the US received) in May. Check out the official tracklisting for the set below:

1. Work – Freemasons Remix
2. Daylight
3. Like This
4. Love
5. This Is Love
6. Broken
7. Better Without You
8. Every Thought Is You
9. Love Again
10. Unity
11. No Man No Cry
12. Daylight – Joey Negro Club Mix
13. Comeback – Karmatronic Remix

I’m sure many will be shocked, as am I, at the removal of the popular ‘Still In Love With My Ex’ from the tracklist. I really don’t understand the logic behind that one. Still, for the most part the album seems to have a consistent chill, mid-tempo feel to it. With her new single ‘Daylight’ already gathering momentum here in the UK, I feel the release has a great chance of success here. Random tidbit: I’m really hoping ‘Love Again’ gets the single treatment at some point – can’t get enough of that song.

‘Ms. Kelly: Diva Deluxe’ hits stores in the UK on May 12th.

Every thought is you could’ve been replaced with Still In Love With My Ex. But I’m happy I’ll def. cop this one. Ditto on Love Again on of the best songs I heard in a while, should be a single!

with the disappearence of still in love with my ex, i hope they carry it onto the nxt album an place it as the lead single

this album if fire. to hot to handle

Why remove the best song on the album? What dumbness, they also got rid of Gotsa Go. Kelly will never learn. There only 13 tracks so two more tracks ain’t gonna make fans run away. Fans appreciate longer albums cos they feel they are getting their money’s worth. As long as the material is good.

    Cover picture is Hott!
SILWME, Work (original version) and the show are all great singles. Maybe they left them off on purpose so that they could encourage people to get the first version as well. maybe they have plans later to bundle them or something.

Oh please #1. ETIY is a awesome track and my favorite. SILWME is good but the version before was waayyyyy better. Love the cover.Flop or not, I’m proud of this girl. Her albums are not selling for all the wrong reasons.

I bet if she was light skin like Michelle, B, and Toya she would of been 2x Planium. But blacks are so racist aganist their own race. If it’s white or close to it, it will sell. But when a real great darker skin tone woman with a absolute amazing voice puts out an album she won’t sell because she is considered not pretty. BS, America, BS. We just lost a great singer. The UK love Kelly and don’t care how she looks.

She’s one of the most beautiful woman I’ve seen and my role model.

She flopped cos she made bad career and single choices. Many of the most successful rnb singers are dark skinned: Lauryn Hill, Mary J Blige, Aretha (well used to be), Diana Ross. While many light skinned girls with great voices ain’t done much: Keke Wyatt, Faith Evans, Tamia etc.

I’ve been playing “Daylight” over and over. I love it!

K MJB is not dark skinned. She is as light skinned as Keyshia Cole. All those you mentioned, you’re right but Aretha was a long time ago. Lauryn was about 10 years ago. I’m referring to now. Albums don’t sell like they use to. S** sells. If Kelly put out a video with her half-naked like her peers it would sell. But she never really went to that point.

A blog (not going to mention which but it’s a top black blog at the moment) had some very very VERY negative comments on Kelly last year. Calling her a darkie and they don’t like darkies so that’s why they didn’t buy it. It was sad to read.

All her singles except Ghetto were good single choices, Work for sure. People just didn’t like them.

amazing cover compared to the US version, but i dont see why tracks have been left off and remixes have taken place. The removal of Still In Love With My Ex is the most bizarre move in my opinion, its by far the greatest track from the original line up. Also i notice Comeback is gone too, which is another silly move really considering it did get UK airplay before the release of Work. I dont get it at all, i do like Kelly, but unless SILWME gets put back on the album i hope it flops, i wouldnt dream of buying it without it

I love kelly and i will cop this one, though i’m sad they removed SILWME, Ghetto, The Show and Comeback (Puuhhhleazeee that song is banginnnnn’, even more the video!).

They should have removed This Is Love, this one has nothing to do in the fisrt half of the album, it was considered as a good album closing track and i must say this one can only close albums, but this song is boring…
Still, I have to add that the first Ms.Kelly was more cohesive, but i won’t complain, we get the excellent Love Again with this one!

Well you all have to realize that she probably didn’t make the choice. I am upset that the show and SILWME didn’t make it to the album, but hey what can you do? The u.s. digital release was a joke. I was upset that comeback cam back as a remix.. but hey.. it’s just how it is…
