You can now preview Mariah Carey’s hotly anticpated new album ‘E=MC²’ in its entierity over at Amazon. Judging by the clips, the record seems to have a few sure-fire hits. Of the tracks we’ve yet to hear, I’m really feeling ‘Cruise Control’, ‘I’ll Be Loving You Longtime’ and ‘For The Record’.Which tracks are you liking / not liking?

They do not all sound the same! If you wanna hear repetition go listen to Danity Kane’s new record.. I like it, but there are A LOT of their songs that sound alike

This album gives me alot of past mariah albums all n one…kinda like an EMANCIPATED BUTTERFLY DAYDREAM’in a/b flying over a RAINBOW towards a MUSIC BOX w/ a CHARMBRACELET inside!!!lol but all in all….Expext gr8 things from this album!!! i just hope she get on point vocally b4 she tries LIVE versions of these songs! ( just bein honest!!! i love u mariah!!)

AMAZING…just like I expected, of course!!!!
This album is FULL of GROOVES, meaning they are more laid back, relaxed, chill, and at the same time, ON FIRE!!! I love all the tracks, from first listen, I can tell that Side Effect, For The Record and Bye Bye are hits, automatically!!! This album isn’t a throw-back of Daydream, it’s more of a mixture of Butterfly, Rainbow & Emancipation!!! Those are the Modern Mariah Records, and this album is definitely more of the Modern Mariah (meaning she isn’t focused on her Vocal Acrobatics like she was in her first 4 Albums).
However, these are just clips and I am pretty POSITIVE that the full length of the songs will reveal the Mariah that we all love, meaning I’m sure towards the end of each song, she is going to let lose and SANG (i.e. her vocal performance at the end of Bye Bye gives me chills)!!!! By the way, Did yall hear any of her signature Super High Notes, NOPE, And that’s probably cause we have NOT heard the best parts of these songs, And that makes me EVEN MORE EXITED to buy the album is 10 DAYS…10 HOURS…29 MINUTES…42 SECONDS…LOL!!!

Compared to the last album, this doesn’t do any justice to and new Mariah.
It’s just not hitting it for me. I was so expecting more.
As of now, i can say Touch My Body is the best song on it and i’m not even a big fan of that. I guess they rest will have to work on me, but trust me i won’t run out to buy the album.
I’m That Chick sounded like a beat left over from Janet’s album.
Just like Janet she’s a grown ass woman, leave the tricky word play and silly explinations to express your fillings to the youngin’s like Ciara, Beyonce, etc.
But i’d like to see Mariah’s next move after Touch My Body, hope it’s a smart one.
Err , yeah . After all tht pushin bk , was expectin more . Only track im feelin is Migrate and O.O.c . No club bangers or major ballads . All the other songs sound the same somehow . It sounds like a demo ..

I love all the tracks, to me is That Chick, Lovin You Long Time, Migrate, Bye Bye, I Stay In Love, Cruise Control, For The Record the best tracks. And I also love TMB, so glad it’s MC’s new number one, 18th! Stop hatin on Janet, she’s a great performer, and hers singing isn’t that bad. There’s no point in comparing those to their very different. I like Mimi the most, but I also happen to like Janet.
As a HUGE MC fan since the beginning, it’s impossible for anyone to say that she’s not returning to her roots. Short of grabbing Walter Afansieff (the major collabo writer on the majority of her earlier hits) this screeeeaaaammmmsss Old Mariah in a NEW AND IMPROVED PACKAGE. It makes me so angry to hear people say that she should go back to her old stuff when she, in a sense, is. I Wish You Well, Bye Bye and Cruise Control are all reminiscent of The Wind, Vanishing, and All Alone in Love wrapped in a bow. Listen to the arrangements and the vocal gymnastics to serve as further proof. ALSO MARIAH RAPPED ON HER FIRST ALBUM… download Prisoner. This HipHop Infused R&B isn’t new for MIMI. You new heads should do more research before you complain.
