Hmm. I’m kinda wishing I didn’t listen to this, as, up until now, every track I’d heard from Solange’s album was a winner. However, the same can’t be said for this largely so-so track….which, for the most part, can be summed up as being kinda ‘blah’. Still, with a array solid cuts under her belt for the record, ‘Sol-Angel & The Hadley Street Dreams’ is definitely still one of the few albums I’m anticipating this year.
In other Solange news, ‘I Decided’ debuted at #44 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart this past week. The charting is her highest to date.

So, since you were apparently wrong about this song being bad, I’d have to say to everyone that every song I’ve heard from her album so far is great! She’s doing the damn thing!
Being Beyonce’s little sister is a hard shadow to move from behind. I must take my hat off for Solange. She sounds great and is not staggered by people’s expectations or criticisms. She is coming into her own. I applaud you Solange and look forward to you fully blooming into the artist you will become.

I disagree too. To me this is not even close to a so-so track. It´s one of those songs i listen to more than one time and believe me…
…I´m hard to please when it comes to listening to new releases.
Maybe the rhythm of the beat makes you dislike it in the first place but then again it´s what makes it special.
I didn´t pay too much attention to the lyrical content but vocal arrangement and delivery sound up to par to me.
It probably won´t be the best radio cut but tracks like that make me wanna pay my hard earned money for an album.

u kinda scared me a little because i was expecting a snooze-fest…i really like this song. EVERY SINGLE song that i have heard from this new project has been on constant rotation. I have been promoting her to my friends and have gotten hooked on “I Decided”, “God Given Name”, and “White Picket Dreams”. She definately has a fresh style and sound. She’s also an amazing song writer IMO. I have NOTHING negative to say about her. I dont even look @ her and Beyonce as sisters beacuse her voice, style, delivery, lyrics and her presence is sooo diffrent from Bee. Kudos Solange!

I’m really loving Solange right now! Shes just a down to earth chick and her voice has deff. blossomed. If you look back to “Feelin you” you would be like “This is the same chick?”

Her voice is annoying as hell. she sounds like she’s crying, not singing. the song is ok, nothing special
