firstly …. i love this site and this is the only site i really like out of all the other. however
there is a lack of information on new and upcoming artists like Jasmine Sullivan who is a great artist and also janelle monae… and many others…. i would say the site is due for a new layout but i dont mind it really, its still cool…. i noticed people are requsting for specific artists they wanna see well thats not possible cos u need to cater to every1… so i say just balance out the celebrities you talk about… as there can be a repetition of one artist apart from that…keep up the good work 🙂

Greetings. First of all I would like to say that I commend you, Sam, for allowing us to give you feedback. I think that it’s admirable. I also want to give you your praises for keeping up with all the latest news and to tell you that you do a great job.
However; some things that you should to change is the layout and picture at the top. Make it brighter, bolder, something that stands out. Also, more new artists news. Political news wouldn’t hurt either. Also, even though we are all entitled to our opinions, they don’t always need to be voiced. Even though I’ve agreed with a lot of what you say/have said about some of the artists, it comes across very malicious. Lighten up just a little bit. Life is too short to live it so critical.
But at any rate, great job with the site. I’m a fan and will continue to visit!

OK This is like my 1st post ever on this site. Its crazy because I never really post my comments even though I view your blog daily. Frankly, I like your opinion even when I don’t agree with it. So I say keep posting your own opinion and keep updating with the things that you care about in the industry. As for the political information that sounds cool in theory but I feel it would also get passed over. After all this is an entertainment blog. But whatever do u.

Well first of all I must say that you have the best blog ever and I think that all the people saying you should stop hating on others are wrong because you are entitled to your own opinion even if it’s not the same with their opinions.
I’d like to see a change in layout and you really should change your banner and I agree with the person who said you don’t have to put all the posts on one page.
You said we could share interview requests aswell so I want to say that I’d love for you to do a interview with Ciara.
Also maybe more album reviews won’t hurt.
I would also like to see more posts about different artists and how are they doing on the charts.
I think the layout has to be completly refreshed.
Your site takes forever to load and when it does that annoying advert often takes over!

I would also like to say that you are doing a good job but here are my suggestions:
1. A new banner with different celebs and a new layout nothing too over the top just a change…
2. A section for artist on the rise…new artist that are currently signed to labels so we can discover new talent and ppl to become fans of: for example artists like Jazmine Sulivan, Dondria, Karina Pasian these are 3 of my Favorite Up and Comings and you never mention them…
3. Add a “Where are they now” segment so we can updates on our favorite artists that have moved out of the spotlight…
4. Add a section where we can list artists that we like or want to hear more about or even somewhere we can send you videos of artist we like on youtube or anywhere else so you can share with everyone else….

A more professional cleaner, user friendly layout would be awesome. Somethink a bit sleek but not tacky. Think about what you website is called… “the Grape Juice”… use it. When I think of grapes I think purple, use your name. The banner is a cool concept but maybe change it out every now and then. DOnt be so biased. Where’s Kell rowland on that banner?1? If you dont like someone then dont post.
More Music revies and post on new music. Thats one of the # 1 reasons I come on here, for the music downloads. Also love the “Best youve never heard” feature. Its awesome to hear different music from your favorite artist.
Dont just post on who you like the most or who you dont. Post anything and everyone thats hot…
Take down videos and music post that have been removed or blocked (I.e. youtube) try to update more than once a day.
Help the industry on artists that have real music talent.. KELLY ROWLAND, KERI HILSON, M.I.A. to name a few. Post on people who will impact and change the face of today’s bubble gum pop s***.
Everynow and then throw some mindles s***… A photo comment contest of the day perhaps. WHo wore it better? Come up with your own names and nicknames for celebs. or do a contest. Be funny

I’ve e-mailed several times asking what happened to the Ashanti interview…I was looking forward to it because the interviews on here are great and I love that fans can submit questions and they are actually asked for the interview! Ditto about the banner change request! Sam, feel free to still respond about the Ashanti interview…I hope it’s still coming!
1. I can’t thank you enough for having one of the hottest blogs out there. If you go to my myspace page, you’ll see that the Grape Juice has honorable mention amongst a couple of others. I appreciate how you’re reaching out to your readers for suggestions on how to make this an even better blog. Who does that anymore? I swear i was just telling one of my best friends today that i was going to email you a suggestion I have..
2. I read each and every one of the responses to your feedback request. I saw some suggestions of which i think a few of them were really good.
-I do agree with the need for a new banner. The Grape Juice is blowing up and if should have a face lift that represents it well.
-I do think that more pages should be used in your post to help on the time it takes your page to load. The Concrete Loop does additional pages and it helps out alot. You’ll probably be able to squeeze in more advertising that way as well. I wouldn’t want you to be like the Concrete Loop though because I visit your blog more often for certain reasons.
-For that sake, I think the idea about “Who wore it Better” would make u seem as though you’re seriously biting the Conrete Loop and other blogs with that same section. But, you can switch it up. My idea earlier today was that it would be nice if you would have a poll about what artists we “the readers” would like to see collaborate and on what song. This came after I was listening to Madonna’s “Miles Away” when a light bulb went off & i thought how awesome Jay Z would sound laying some versus on her track if she ever decided to drop it as a single! So yea, that would be a hot section to add..
-Someone mentioned including more posts about the black community. Why is this necesarry? Sam, you’re doing an awesome job of posting information without regard to color or nationality. I feel if you keep up the good job in updating the blog accordingly as you have been, then that should suffice. I mean, why segregate the current events in the industry?
-LMAO @ the list of artists that get on your nerves, that would be a hot idea. And i agree, i still don’t get the whole “Say Something” part you have going on. lol. And the polls don’t really excite me much either.
-I think a video of the week would be a brilliant idea. Let’s face it, most of the labels out there are doing herendous jobs promoting the artists we love and the Grape Juice happens to be one of the legs the industry is standing on, so that weekly video idea would really help push artists that much more.
now, enough with suggestions. lol
3. Sam, this is your blog. You are entitled to your own opinion. KEEP DOING WHAT YOU’RE DOING! You are at the top of the charts among other blogs for a reason. You have plenty of readers visting constantly for a reason. If these rejects think you’re being too bias, oh freakin well. Go put your own blogs and achieve such ratings and stop crying. Besides, blogging is all about sharing views on particular subjects. If you “the reader” don’t like whats being said, you can go read a newspaper. Those are unbias articles that you’ll enjoy. Hi Sam! I think you do a brilliant job of running the site – I look here several times a day to see if there are any updates. Keep writing about whoever you want – it’s good to read your opinion on things. I think changing the banner would be good… I was thinking maybe you could do like a tribute banner to music artists who tragically lost their lives e.g. Aaliyah, 2 Pac, B.I.G and mix these music artists in with some of the ones who are around on the music scene now e.g. ne-yo, rihanna, ciara, mariah, chris brown, usher, michelle williams.
Also I think you should have another section where we can go to download the latest tracks on the music scene……

I don’t think you should change a damn thing because this blog is really that entertaining to read. I love how some of the above comments say stop “hating” on artists like Rihanna. You’re just critical, which is what blogging is all about.
Speaking of that, keep up the good work on your opinion pieces after each blog post because I tend to always agree with you. And if not, sometimes your opinions tend to convince me to think differently. Lastly, keep up the good work with the proper vocabulary and good choice of words.
