Hit! ALL the ladies sound nice.

  2. Anonymous August 21, 2008

Nice track! They let the strong voices lead and the not so strong voices fill in the background vocals. Pretty cool given that you can still hear their individual voices (even in the background).

  3. Robert loves Ciara August 21, 2008

this is a hott-sped-up-chipmunk-on-a-vocoder mess. the only people you can really distinguish are Bey, Mary, kinda Mariah and Rihanna at the end. great message but just let the women sing without tryna use tricks to cover the other voices. if the cant sing, they shouldnt be on the track. that simple.

  9. kuteboikelsie August 21, 2008

i love it…. all i can hear is bey, and carrie underwood and mary j and of course rihanna

  10. knox August 21, 2008

Well…the song is great…n if u listen to it several times u'll be able to find almost each ladie's part…though i can't really find Ciara & Keyshia on it…i luv Bey, Mariah, Leona & Mary parts…they sounded really good!

  18. Anonymous August 21, 2008

Like everyone said, this is a great song.
I hear Bey,how could you miss her, Mary J.,Natasha, Mariah, Leona, Sheryl, Carrie, well basically everyone except Keyshia(dont know why cause her voice stand out) and I figure Ciara is just the thing that sounds like a man in the background.

  19. Anonymous August 21, 2008

I'm LOVIN THIS SONG! I love Bey at the beginning, MJB, Mimi, & Fergie little Reggae flow at the end! FIYAH! DEFINATE CLASSIC!!!

  20. Anonymous August 21, 2008

ahem. miley. definitely NOT supposed to be on the song.
and ciara plus ashanti. couldn’t distinguish them at ALL.
replace those 3 with Jordin, Christina, and Alicia and all is perfect with the song (=

  21. Anonymous August 21, 2008

Where was Ciara, Miley, & Ashanti? nd why did they have to put the so called 'Queen Bee' first? She just mean she gone be first in everything….
My opinion don't nobody get MAD…

Beyonce: The heart is stronger than you think
It’s like it can go through anything
And even when you think it can’t it finds a way to still push on, though

Carrie: Sometimes you want to run away
Ain’t got the patience for the pain
And if you don’t believe it look into
your heart the beat goes on

    Rihanna: I’m tellin’ you that
    Things get better
    Through whatever
If you fall, dust it off, don’t let up

Sheryl: Don’t you know you can go be your own miracle

    Beyonce: You need to know

Sheryl: If the mind keeps thinking you’ve had enough
But the heart keeps telling you don’t give up

Sheryl/Beyonce: Who are we to be
    questioning, wondering what is what
    Don’t give up

Fergie: It’s like we all have better days
Problems getting all up in your face

Leona: Just because you go through it

Fergie: Don’t mean it got to take control, no

Leona: You ain’t gotta find no hiding place

Keyshia: Because the heart can beat the hate

Leona: Don’t wanna let your mind keep playin’ you

Keyshia: And sayin’ you can’t go on

    Rihanna: I’m tellin’ you that

    Miley: Things get better
    Through whatever

    Rihanna: If you fall

Miley: Dust if off, don’t let up

    LeAnn: Don’t you know you

    Natasha: Can go

    LeAnn: Be your own

    Natasha: Miracle

    Carrie: You need to know

    Ensemble: CHORUS

Mary: You don’t gotta be a prisoner in your mind

Ciara: If you fall, dust it off

Mary: You can live your life

    Rihanna/Carrie: Yeah

Mary: Let your heart be your guide

    All: Yeah yeah yeah

Mariah: And you will know that you’re good if you trust in the good

Ashanti: Everything will be alright, yeah
Light up the dark, if you follow your heart

Mary: And it will get better

    Mariah: Through whatever

Fergie: You got it in you, find it within
You got in now, find it within now
You got in you, find it within
You got in now, find it within now
You got in you, find it within
Find it within you, find it within

  23. tomtom200707 August 21, 2008

This is a great song. Queen Bee shined, like always…lol. Carrie Underwood and Rihanna (Surprising) sounds good. But I can’t hear Ciara or Ashanti. But I kind of feel like she is going back and forth with someone in the first verse…at the part where it says, “Don’t you know you can go be your own miracle”. I think I definitely heard her at 1:22. But I did hear Keyshia in the second verse at 1:19 before Ashanti and at 3:05 saying “Don’t give up, Don’t give up”. I’ll be honest though, I think it’s a shame that you have to listen to the song a thousand times to see if an artist is indeed on this song. I kind of feel like they shouldve spared a few (like fergie, miley) so that all the ladies could have equally been heard. How can we distinguish someone when their only singing one word??? But nonetheless, they all sound amazing! Mariah really stood out for me though…And besides, it’s for a great cause that I’m definitely going to support!

  25. Anonymous August 21, 2008

Great song! Let’s put it this way if you can’t distinguish someone’s voice that may speak volumes about how talented they are…I’m just saying. I think they distributed the parts perfectly…everyone who could actually carry a large part got one.

  26. Toinee. August 21, 2008

Mariah, Mary j, Bey & Natasha are by far the standouts. the end w. mariah & mjb is amazing, my favorite part by far. the song its self is meaning full & amazing. im maddd they gave keyshia one line, shes a great talent.

  27. Anonymous August 21, 2008

I love it! Very nice. I can only distiguish a few voices though. I wonder if they’ll ever perform it live?

  28. Anonymous August 21, 2008

their gonna perfom it 2gether sept 5

  29. Anonymous August 21, 2008

    ^ Where at?

  30. Billie August 21, 2008

All 15 singers will share the stage to perform the song live on Sept. 5 during the “Stand Up to Cancer” television special, set to air simultaneously on ABC, NBC and CBS. Other stars expected to turn out for the hourlong fund- and awareness-raising program include Jennifer Aniston, Lance Armstrong, Katie Couric, Sally Field, Salma Hayek, Meryl Streep, Forest Whitaker and Reese Witherspoon.

  31. Anonymous August 21, 2008

    i like it

  32. Anonymous August 21, 2008

I think the parts should have been distributed more equally. Ciara had one line, thats like what the f*ck??? And damn give Rihanna a bigger part because she's the it irl, WOW! Good song, but I wish to hear more of the R&B vocalists liek Ashanti, Keyshia Cole, Ciara…

  33. Anonymous August 21, 2008

NICE SONG!!! wow cant wait for the performance of all the ladies!!!!
    it’d be so BIGGGGGGG!!!

love fergie part at the end , dont know but tht chick got a jamaican accent when she sings lol maybe it just me….lol whatever!!! STAND UP!

  34. Just B August 21, 2008

Bey, Mary J, and Mariah were off the chain at the end of the song! After listening to the song several times, I am to pick some of the people a little more. I like the little accent Fergie brought at the end. Rihanna sounded pretty good on her part and I thought Miley did pretty good too! lol
Ashanti, Ciara, Keyshia all had really small parts, but I love the song none the less!!!

  35. Bambi August 21, 2008

  36. Anonymous August 21, 2008

Wow it actually sounded good! I thought it was gonna be bad with all the diff. voices but its good! I loved Beyonce’s part, Ashanti’s, and Mariah’s. Even Rihanna sounded better than I thought she would.

  37. Anonymous August 21, 2008

It sounds really nice.. Should’ve known Bey would start the song.. lol

Some of the people who read and comment on this site are idiots! I doesn’t matter who sung what part, where and what time, and peoples comments on who should have sung instead of whoever else is just stupid! All these people have given up their time for charity…cancer! so they should just be comended for taking part. Sam! owner of this blog! you should start taking control of the blog and what people write, start writing comments or resonces instead of spending all your time hating on Rhi and other artists.

  41. Anonymous August 22, 2008

I love Melissa’s voice. First of all I heard everybody but Sheryl Crow and Ciara. Stand outs (imo) Melissa Etheridge, Natasha Bedingfield, Leona Lewis, Leanne Rimes, Mary(guessing between Mary or Leanne pulling that Christina) and of course that high note, no question…Mariah.

  42. Anonymous August 22, 2008

Fredrick that was wrong, even though riri needed help with her vocals. Queen B was great as usual, Mary, Ashanti, Carrie, Leona, it is a HIT…..

  46. Frederick August 22, 2008

    @ anonymous 1:07am. I try

but, didn’t i predict this? I knew Beyonce was gonna come in first, sing the most, and there were gonna be some divas who weren’t gonna get shine (ex. Ciara got candlelight compared to Bey) because their names aren’t big enough… they might as well not be IN the song.

  47. Anonymous August 22, 2008

It’s a nice song. To whoever listed everybody’s part, you either have the best ear, listened to it a few 100 times or someone gave you the parts, cuz on just a couple of listens, it’s very hard to tell who singing what except for Bey, Mary, Mariah, Melissa and Rihanna. Carrie sounds almost identical to Christina Aguilera. I think Babyface and L.A. mixed the song too much. All of these ladies have very different voices, but some parts sound like the same person. And they do need more even distribution of lyrics. But I guess they wanted certain people to stand out so that the public would subliminally like the song more by having the “It” ladies sound like their normal selves.

  48. SnijanaFleur August 22, 2008

It’s a hit Sam. It’s stuck in my head since last night, and it’s quite pleasant. I can distinguish most of the ladies’ voice [Yes even Miley’s]. Some immediately stand out like Beyonce, Mary, Maria, Carry, Rihanna, Fergie…Great job ladies.

  49. Anonymous August 22, 2008

Sorry I’m not a fan of this song. It sounds like a singing contest. Too many adlibs..

  50. Anonymous August 22, 2008

To one of the comments above: Rihanna may be the “IT” girl of the momen, but this track showcases vocal talent…hence, her one liners. Anyone find it interesting that Rihanna has an islander accent, but Fergie did the last verse with it. Hmmmmmmm….

  51. Soufian August 22, 2008

i like the song, btw you can totally hear leona lewis you guys, no one mentioned her!

  52. tia August 22, 2008

listening to it again i really really like the song and those lyrics helped soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much, i mean i already liked it but now i want to buy it for sure, and the end part was def the best part

like i said before it was all for a good cause so its just wonderful

  53. Anonymous August 22, 2008

Sounds good for a charity song this is one of the best yet, good voices.
Beyonce, Carrie, Rihanna,Mary and Leona sound the best, don’t really like Fergie’s voice but hey at least she don’t sound like a kid, sorry Miley but your not a good singer, Britney or someone else would of sounded better. It do well though

  54. Anonymous August 22, 2008

I forgot to mention Ashanti has a nice voice too and Ciara sounds ok but they should of had more lines, Miley should of had their lines or less

  55. Anonymous August 22, 2008

The reality is Ciara, Ashanti, and Keyshia (who I think is talented) didn’t get big parts because they are somewhat under the radar compared to the other singers. Basically they are only famous in certain circles. I’m sorry but they didn’t need Miley Cyrus on this record. Leona Lewis sounds a lot like Mariah. Its all for a great cause so who cares?

  56. Anonymous August 22, 2008

why does everyone keep saying ashanti, ciara, and keyshia got the smallest parts..if you read the lyrics natasha bedingfield only got 3 WORDS lmaoooo..and leann rimes part was just AS SMALL as ciara’s..keyshia didnt even sound like herself to me at all..i thought she was one of the white singers lol..ashanti’s part was just as long as keyshia’s(both got 2 lines) rihanna and miley sound just alike on their parts lmao..and smdh at fergie and her fake ass accent..that s*** aint cute

  57. Anonymous August 22, 2008

People Beyonce got a WHOLE thats what u call but great song ciara and ashanti i think should get smaller ppart keyshia had 2 lines and she souned great. but yea this is going on my iphone when it comes to itunes

  58. Anonymous August 22, 2008

beyonce didnt get no damn whole verse

  59. Anonymous August 23, 2008

Did you know that Christina was meant to sing over vocals towards the end?

The Bit that I think Underwood does?
But pulled out because record labels WERE BIDDING for people to sing.

Mathew Knowles paid $500,000 for Bee to sing the most etc.
TBH, that’s sick on a charity single.

That’s why Xtina isnt on it, and same with Alicia and P!nk.

  60. Just B August 23, 2008

^^ That is so random! Since Mathew paid $500,000 I guess Fergie’s manager paid about $1,000,000 because she sings the most. Everybody keeps saying that Bey song the most, but Carrie had the same amout of parts. She even had adlibs. Ppl always have to find something wrong with Bey! LMAO!

  61. Anonymous August 23, 2008

they could care less about cancer. those women disgust me.

  62. Anonymous August 23, 2008

thats son was banging…those ladies nailed it i cant wait to see the liive performances

  63. Anonymous August 24, 2008

u guys are missing the whole point of the song!!!!!

  64. Anonymous August 24, 2008

beyonce, mary, mariah, melissa, fergie, and leona rocked it 4 me! i instantly could tell them apart from the 1st listen, and the song wouldve been just as good, if not better if it was left to those 6 ladies alone.

  65. Anonymous August 24, 2008

I really love this song! Especially the bridge with Mary and Mariah! 🙂 And Beyonce did not sing the most parts! Fegie did!

  66. Anonymous August 27, 2008

queen bey is the best. of course she started it off. bey, mary, and mariah killed it. the queens of the game.
