According to reports, rapper Nas and wife of 3 years Kelis are expecting their first child together:From “Milkshake” to mommy!
A source tells the newest issue of Us Weekly, on stands now, that singer Kelis, 29, and her husband, rapper Nas, 35, are expecting their first child together.
“It’s all they are talking about. She is carrying hip-hop royalty!” says the insider, who adds Kelis — currently in her first trimester — already has a little bump. “They are so excited.”
A rep for the singer had no comment.
The couple tied the knot in a small ceremony in Atlanta in January 2005. {Source}

Randomness: I’ve been itching for another Kelis album. ‘Kelis Was Here’ was top notch.

I personally didn’t really get 2 into “Kelis Was Here,” just heard “Bossy.”
But I enjoyed multiple songs off of her album ‘Tasty.’ Like “Glow,” “In Public,” “Trick Me,” “Flashback,” and maybe a few others including the hit single, “Milkshake”
Congrats on them having a baby, but I had heard rumors last year of the breaking up, hope this wasn’t to keep NaS locked down Kelis

I was just thinking about her. I heard she did a few tracks with Rapael Saadiq and Cee-Lo for the new album already. “Kelis Was Here” was majorly slept on and if you want to hear what inspired “Diva” and “Video Phone” for Beyonce listen to “Aww S***” and “Handful” from Kelis…

Yay for them if that’s true. Kelis is the innovator of this decade. She started the whole “flashy, bold, 80’s, retro” thing back in 2005, and come 2009 h*** are STILL on it!
