The legendary Whitney Houston performed on the finale of ABC’s Dancing With The Stars a few hours ago, offering a rendition of current single ‘Million Dollar Bill’ (which you can watch above), as well as her classic ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ (below). Scroll down for our take each showing…
Nippy has certainly had better live outings vocally, and really could have done without that performance of ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’. That said, ‘Million Dollar Bill’ wasn’t bad…I rather enjoyed it in fact. I’m assuming she’ll be resting her voice over the Holiday period for her upcoming tour which kicks off early next year.

Some fans who were there at the live recording said she performed Million Dollar Bill twice. Obviously, whoever edited merged the two clips together did a bad job because they forgot to mute the vocals for the other clip. But she sounds absolutely amazing.
I may have to disagree with Sam here because I was all smiles when she sang I Wanna Dance with Somebody. Loved how she bobbed her head and danced around – simply STUNNING!!!!
She clearly slowed down IWDWS for the dancers. A more upbeat version should let her to showcase her vocals a bit more. Still, a convincing solid vocal performance!!!!

I just adore this woman. Such an inspiration. her perofrmance on the AMAs was much more memorable, but i love her performance here too.
By the way, Alicia wrote Million Dollar Bill for Whitney. I just watched Whitney sing it in Italy – that performance I can call FLAWLESS

I love both performances! I like the new version of Whitney Houston. I mean she sings more in depth. By the way, the dresses were the best ever ( the yellow one was ….waoooooooooo)
If your a true Whitney Fan I geuss you would like her either way. I’m not so lets be honest…Million Dollar Baby wasn’t bad. But I do have to admit DWSB was a bit rough…when she sang “And when the night falls, my loneliness calls….” That was the worst part of the performance all three times…It was okay. I wouldn’t watch it just for kicks. But she is better than most artists so she gets her props on that note.
I don’t understand what is wrong with her voice. At times she has power and her range and then other times she doesn’t all within the same performance. I know it has something to do with her breathing. Also, her shoes were way too high, what if she fell.
I’m a singer and my voice fatigues more often now too. It’s like you start the song off high and you’re giving it and sounding great, and you kinda just deteriorate during the performance. It kinda comes from doing too much..

Love it!!! especially IWDWS!!!! hear that original version that she hasn’t done in years. she CLEARLY held back her vocals, because on her tours she usually BELTS THE HELL OUT OF THIS SONG but here she has to slow down for the dancers. I understand that 🙂 She looks flawless by the way!!!
okay, whycome i have not seen or heard anyone say anything about how she been looking hella pregnant??! i saw her on the AMA’s and was like she’s pregnant, and then on DWTS and i was SHE IS PREGNANT. does she just have a pregnant looking tummy or is she pregnant??!
